In the "Union Tantra," it says, "There are three kinds of conduct: the conduct of body and speech that distinguishes the boundary between samsara and nirvana, the conduct of counting that enjoys the path of asceticism, and the conduct of dissolving appearances into their own place, settling awareness into its natural state." So it is said. The latter is from the "Sutra of Subduing the Asura War": "Conduct is knowing self-liberation." So it is said. Also, the former four are the virtuous practices of youth, and the latter three are said to be in the equality of taste. In the "All-Illuminating" of King Earth Holder, it says, "The conduct of great compassion is like the essence of the sun; yogis practice benefiting beings with it." So it is said. These conducts are precious in relation to time by increasing the power of wisdom from above. If conduct is lost in the direction of view, it will become the view of the black, scattered demon. If the view is lost in the direction of conduct, it will be bound by all combinations, so practice in accordance with the meaning. Third, the intention is to establish phenomenal existence as the basis: self-awareness... to... naturalness. Thus, by the conduct of the meaning of view, and by the conduct that can be practiced, obtaining mastery over appearances, its intention naturally arises as establishing phenomenal existence as a great basis. Since each person's awareness is clear in unobstructed emptiness, it is clearly self-illuminating. Because the intention of possessing the four kayas is manifestly realized, the duality of whether it is view or meditation arises. If one cultivates in the state of directly seeing the result, then the self-evidence of cutting off the movement of doubt, the thought of whether obtaining liberation and omniscience changes meaning or does not change meaning, in its own place. In the basis of the essence of reality, the root that generates all dharmas, the subtlest, free from the mind of effort and mental factors, not becoming an object of verbal thought. Since one's own being is not bound by contrived view and meditation, and there is no impurity of deluded thoughts, the way of abiding of the essence of reality of all dharmas, the kaya, arises naturally without alteration or modification. This is called the intention of establishing phenomenal existence as the basis. In the "Six Spaces," it says, "In the nature of mind without fear, appearance without hope or fear, this is naturally abiding, the intention endowed with confidence; Samantabhadra, I have taught it." So it is said. Fourth, the specific method for this is to rest in appearances, and the result is that afflictions arise.

And, appearing as wisdom is also without difference, liberating into the sole wisdom, afflictions are transformed into abodes. In the Six Spaces it says: Transforming the nature of the appearing mind, the number of afflictions are purified in their own place. Thus it is said. At that time, abiding in the strength of conviction of liberation from the very nature of phenomena, one is called a yogi abiding in the Dharma. Samaya (藏文,梵文天城体:समय,梵文罗马拟音:samaya,汉语字面意思:Oath): View, meaning, conduct liberation, is the great perfection's oath, difficult to transgress. The three prohibitions are as before. Fifth, by means of establishing extremes, settling the non-meditation into its natural state, connecting words and phrases to ascertain the essential point, that is its extensive explanation. First, thus, etc., to, as explained above, the most important thing at first is to recognize the view, before the reality is seen by the view, no matter how much one meditates, it is meaningless, like a horse race without a track, or like a blind person examining an elephant by touching it, therefore, in the Tantra of the Great Authority King it says: Look with seeing and not seeing, if you do not see, then what do you meditate on? For example, some blind people, touching a powerful elephant with their hands, touching the nose, tail, legs, and back, each clinging to what they touch and meditating. Before realizing the reality of the view, the fools who meditate are like blind people touching an elephant. Thus it is said. Also, in the Sutra of the Victory Banner Peak it says: Until the truth is seen, meditation will not make it seen. Also, in the Sutra of Overcoming the Asura War it says: The cause of liberation is realization, meditation does not liberate, like pointing the way in the dark, if gold is realized, then there is no need to meditate, not realizing and meditating will not lead to Buddhahood, if realization is manifest, then I do not say that meditation makes it manifest. Thus it is said. Considering this, some great beings say: Fools meditating on the great mudra, mostly will be reborn as animals. Thus it is said. Also, in the Gongdü it says: Before seeing the unthinkable, settling the mind in the unthinkable, this child is a fool, he will fall into the birthplace of darkness. Thus it is said, these words are very important. Seeking meditation from the view of the Great Perfection, this is very profound. Otherwise, if the view, meditation, and conduct are confused, it will not be accomplished, also, in the Bright Razor Sutra it says: For example, if one enters a meaningful path,
