Because there is such a difference between merits and faults, it is necessary to always be serious about the key points. Moreover, it says in the Abhisamayalankara: The body is the way the three bodies abide, and should not be constantly transgressed. This is the mudra of the body, a vow established by the command not to transgress these vows. The three prohibitions are as before. Second, regarding the key point of speech, there are also two aspects: the actual and the showing of its necessity. The first has four points. In the Abhisamayalankara, it says: Speech should be learned, abide, restrained, and stabilized. Therefore, first, learning is: the activity of speech... to hope, that is, gradually reducing speech and gradually slowing down, and finally cutting off all false speech by gradually lengthening the time. Recitation and mantra repetition, etc., are not abandoned at appropriate times. If you want to speak again, speak alone about irrelevant things and what you want to say, say hundreds of thousands of millions, and cut off with speech, and thus learn not to speak. As it says in the Extensive Treatise: First learn for a short time, do not abandon recitation, etc., cut off all false speech, words should be reduced every day, then learn for a long time, sometimes speak even when there is nothing to say. Second, abiding is: Also sometimes... only. Saying, apart from just making a gesture, speech is completely not mixed with others, and even just reciting is not prohibited. Sometimes only clearly recite the mantra, and abandon everything else, which is also what that treatise says: Then you must abide, abandon circumambulation and sutra recitation, etc., the recitation of mantras should not be prohibited, do not speak any words to others, only make bodily gestures. Third, restraining is: Finally, do... do, finally abandon all gestures of body and speech, as said before: Then stabilize and restrain, all speech is prohibited, abide like a mute, bodily gestures are also not done, only use consciousness to express. Fourth, stabilizing is: From the meaning of the root words, everything that needs to be done, expressing to consciousness, the activity of the characteristics of speech is also gradually prohibited, after purification, the meaning of not speaking arises in the continuum, which is also what that treatise says: The meaning of not speaking appears in the continuum, quickly becoming a Buddha is the key. Second, regarding necessity, directly grasping the key points

Explanation of Merits. From the two aspects of explaining the faults of non-grasping the opposite. The first aspect is, the necessity is... as stated between... and... , temporarily, confused speech and afflictions will not increase, supremely, the meaning of the inexpressible arises in the continuum, and ultimately, one attains nirvana in the realm of the speech of the three kayas of the Buddha. As it is said in "Klong gsal": "Thus, whoever grasps the key point of speech, the causes of speech are exhausted and attains nirvana." And in "Third After Death": "Speech is the order of learning, abiding firmly and also repeating. Whoever does not pass away from it, all the Buddhas of the three times, attain nirvana in the realm of speech." And in "Buddha's Last Testament Two": "Emaho! Son of lineage, desiring speech to completely attain nirvana, one should not depart from the wheel of silence." Thus it is. The second fault of not grasping is that it also possesses faults opposite to those merits. As it is said in "Klong gsal": "If the key point of speech is not grasped, the meaning of the inexpressible will not be understood, and confused speech obscures the meaning." Thus it is. Vow) is, the seal of the Dharma of speech, is the vow that this method of inexpressible meaning manifests. The three seals are as before. The third meaning is the key point of the mind, there is reality and necessity. The first aspect is, as it is said from "Then mind..." to "looking", the key point of the mind is the object to which the mind is entrusted, like the two, space and awareness, therefore it is to place or act on them, that is, from the state of the three, door key, inversion, and side guidance, wherever it can arise well, directly without moving. Without entrusting the mind like a spear to the external empty space, and looking at all the meaning discriminations, and purification, liberation, and definite arising, and not making the hope of arising and the worry of not arising, but abiding. As it is said in "Thal 'gyur": "The mind is accomplished by entrusting it to space." And as it is said in "Klong gsal": "Grasp the key point and abide in the entrusted object." And as it is said in "Rab 'byams": "The mind is accomplished by entrusting it to space, the three key instructions do not move, in the emptiness of the outer space, awareness itself is entrusted as an unmade object, without distraction, entrusting it to the outer empty space, the inner space, the pure lamp of emptiness clearly appears, manifestly clear and completely enlightened." Thus it is. "Seventy Intermittent Instructions"
