The explanation of Dzogchen itself. The concluding summary of the chapter. The first is, the second, etc. From here, because this has the three vajra places, from the second kind of self-appearing wisdom holders, the Tögal instructions that show self-liberation through effort are superior to Trekchö by seven distinctions. In the path of Trekchö, the nature of reality remains in thought and conceptualization and cannot be seen, but here, the three kayas appear as the path, and are seen directly, so it is superior first. In Thalgyur it says: Because the three kayas are the path, seeing this, the three realms will not be reversed. And in Chigchö Kundrol it says: Just seeing this, one will be liberated. Also, although Trekchö relies on the confidence and meditation of seeing thoughts as self-liberated, it cannot forcibly liberate delusion and delusory appearances in an instant. Tögal obscures delusory appearances with pure appearances in an instant, and delusion is liberated into wisdom, so it is superior second. In Thalgyur it says: Those who strive are self-liberated, the extent of habituation of appearances, shows the increasing appearance of pure wisdom, it is not born from that cause. Also, Trekchö is confused about the key point of the clear light manifest appearance, but here it is superior third with a special key point. In the Lamp Illuminating it says: Compared to the yogi who observes the behavior of others, if this is not shown, no matter how much you examine it, you will not see it. If this supreme instruction is shown, like milk pervading the body of a cow, when a wise person milks, like milk appears, the manifest is clear, and the key points of the body are also constantly habituated, and seen without difference. Trekchö relies on the coarse channels and winds, so there are great obstacles and deviations, but here it relies on the essence channels and winds, so there are few obstacles and deviations, and there is no difference between old and young in age, it is superior fourth. In Chigchö Kundrol it says: Other vehicles practice in youth, but cannot practice when old, saying that practice will not succeed. But here there is no old or young in age. Also, Trekchö's view from the impure door is only searching for purity, but here, with the pure long-range shot, the special feature of the transformation of the abode, the subject and object are pacified in their own place, so it is superior fifth. In Thalgyur it says: Seeing like a thread, the memory of the movement of thoughts ceases, like a bird going in the sky, the freedom of the Dharma.

There is nowhere to go from the expanse. (Therefore,) since the appearance of non-other awareness is completely pure, the causes and conditions for appearing as delusion are exhausted. Thus it is said. Furthermore, it is only to stabilize the cut-off realm known as Trekchö. Here, there are also differences in the experience of great knowledge of clairvoyance and direct perception, miraculous powers, and the increasing experience of luminous appearances and deity forms. As it says in the Thögal: Shows the increasing appearance of pure wisdom. Thus it is said. Moreover, there is a great difference between sharp and dull depending on whether one relies on the intellectual faculty of analytical reasoning, but here, for the vision of direct perception, there is no sharp or dull. It is like seeing a pillar in front of you, where the senses have no sharp or dullness. As it says in the Thögal: The senses have no sharp or dullness. Not wisdom, but the vision of the senses. And in the Kuntröl it says: Here, the senses have no sharp or dullness. Thus, the supremely excellent Great Perfection is. Secondly, there are the preliminary practices of the session and the actual practice, along with signs and measures. First, from "Then..." to "Establish." It says that after letting go of nine activities, one should settle down peacefully. In particular, the place for meditating on clear light is: high and clear, free from the causes of good and bad such as disturbances; where the sun and moon rise early and set late; where the senses are flawless, like a water mirror; and where the environment is free from conditions, like a cloudless sky. These three are signs that clear light will dawn. As it says in the Klongsal: It appears in the three free from conditions. Thus it is said. There, facing east, in order to generate the special realization of the profound path in the mindstream, one should earnestly pray, invoke the mandala of the victorious ones abiding in space, enter through the path of light channels, and dissolve into the ground of awareness of the base, believing that awareness is blessed to be awakened. Secondly, there are four: binding the three doors as the three vajras, turning the three key points as the wheel of dharmata, ascertaining the signs and measures of the appearances of the stages of the path and the completion stage, and how to maintain the view of the ground of being, free from extremes and reliance. As it says in the Glorious Stacked Mountain: If you want to become familiar with the key points of direct perception, the key points are opened by four. Thus it is said. Here, since the latter is naturally complete from the gaps of other earlier and later divisions, it is divided into three. First, as it says in the Thögal: The key points of direct perception are body, speech, and mind, the key points of each
