Merely guiding this as a ripened fruit is like a theft of the Mahayana. And appearing to be without fault yet existing is like a rope without a snake, just a rope. Afflictions appear to be wisdom and have the fault of delusion, but in reality, there is no fault, etc. The Uttaratantra states: "Having the characteristic of distinctions, is the emptiness of adventitiousness." The Great Bliss Tantra states: "Habitual tendencies are like adventitious clouds; from non-existence, existence is inferred; from existence, non-existence." The Gur Tantra states: "The conceptual thoughts that are inferred by negativity, make the precious mind contaminated." Just as adventitious stains do not enter the nature of the unconditioned, like clouds not obscuring the essence of the sun, the essence is without fault. Therefore, the tantra states: "The nature of mind, which is clear light, like the sky, is free from all reasons. Adventitious stains do not turn it into afflictions." The necessity of the path is also that the nature of mind is immaculate, the natural perfection of body, wisdom, and qualities, and is merely a condition for removing the obscuration of stains. If there were no qualities from the beginning, they could not be generated. If they were generated, it would only be the arising of conditioned phenomena from conditioned phenomena of the same kind; dissimilar things do not arise, like wheat from barley. It is like a cloth and detergent for cleaning jewels, and the wind that dispels the clouds from the sun, so it is necessary. If it were not pure from the beginning, the mind, like black coal, would not turn white even if cleaned later. As Dombi Heruka said: "Even if stains are washed away for a long time, the nature of coal will not turn white. The naturally pure emptiness becomes pure. The guru's instruction is the supreme washer of nature." Therefore, the nature of mind is Buddha from now on, which is established by pure scripture and reasoning. This is very important, so it is explained in some detail. The result of the three bodies of the Buddha is accomplished from its own ground of dharmata and has never been tainted by the faults of samsara. The qualities of the Dharmakaya are not diminished in the slightest, and the result remains the same as it was at the time of manifestation, unchanging and firm. As the Uttaratantra states: "As it was before, so it is afterwards; it is the unchanging nature of reality." The gradual entry of mind with effort and
