That is, it is the cause of falling into the ocean of samsara." Thus it is said. The Great Lord (Atisha) said, "Appearances are like appearances, they cannot be grasped. Without grasping, do not cling. Non-duality is self-liberated, rest in ease." Thus it is said. In the Lankavatara Sutra, it is said, "By knowing the true meaning of various discriminations as they are, one will be liberated." These also speak of liberation through discrimination itself. Knowing that the nature of afflictions is wisdom, and liberating by abiding in that state, is like knowing a rope and not needing to repeatedly confirm that it is not a snake. Like the liberation of grasping a snake, what is there to say? There is nothing to say. Therefore, even if arising is not abandoned and spontaneous appearances arise wrongly, through the power of seeing the nature of reality by the kindness of the lama, like meeting a person one has known before, the mother and child of clear light meet and are liberated, or like a friend mistaken for an enemy is recognized and liberated. These are also as stated in the Mani Garland Tantra: "Because it is primordially liberated, it is always supreme. Because it is self-liberated, the environment and conditions are exhausted. Because it is liberated upon seeing, appearances are purified. Because it is liberated at the end, the four extremes are extinguished. Because it is one liberation, the many are empty." Thus it is said. Third, the necessity is: Thus, for all that is grasped and arises separately as appearances, mind, means, wisdom, pleasure, and pain, by introducing the way of liberation into the unity of appearance and emptiness, great bliss, wisdom, and bodhicitta, and by diligently practicing, not only will one's own continuum not be bound, but it will also become a companion to the circle of clear light. Therefore, Lama Serlingpa said, "Throw it far away and relax, relax and relax. Turn and turn again and stare. Shatter it violently and rest softly. In this way, one will surely not be bound but liberated." Thus it is said. The Great Lord (Atisha) said to Dromtönpa, "The lama Avadhuti said, 'The essence of discrimination is the dharmadhatu. If it arises, be happy, it is an encouragement. If no benefit is gained, it is only a slight knowledge of reality.'" Thus it is said. Dromtönpa said that he had the intention of the Buddhas of the three times in his heart. This is because, on the basis of all appearances of emptiness and appearance, happiness and suffering, means and wisdom, etc., one abides in the state of recognizing the indivisibility of the nature of reality, awareness and emptiness. By the key point that the nature of reality has no distinctions, one realizes non-duality, and grasping is liberated in its own place, and the reality of what is naturally becomes manifest.

It is so. Those are also from the words of the venerable and holy master: Both inner and outer are great bliss, The venerable one's self-aware mind of realization, Samsara and nirvana are non-dual, However one looks, it is the bodhicitta, The dharmakaya of primordial Buddhahood. Thus it is said. Also, from the "String of Pearls": If one understands the meaning of suffering itself, There is no need to seek great bliss. Thus it is said. And: Ultimate and conventional are non-dual, In the realm of self-appearance, there is great bliss. Thus it is said. And: Although the realm of delusion is various, In ultimate reality, there is no duality. If the awareness of deluded appearances is cut off at the root, In its own essence, self-awareness is non-dual. These are the views. The third is the purpose: Thus, internally... to... wide, wide, wide. Thus, by cutting the root of the mind that grasps inwardly, the meaning of the clear, empty, free from elaboration, primordial purity of all phenomena is revealed to the mind. It is a symbol of the four terms that transcend the four: view, meditation, action, and result. By introducing the state of abiding as the self-abiding primordial wisdom bodhisattva, its meaning is clearly seen. By abiding in the state of seeing, clarity, non-conceptuality, purity, and subtlety, the meaning endowed with the four characteristics arises without remainder. And the superior seeing of the discriminating wisdom of this cutting through is ascertained. By the very act of abiding, it becomes continuous. When superior seeing arises spontaneously in the lineage, it is introduced as the clear light of the essence of the four continuous ones. By pointing out the Buddha with the finger, one finds it in oneself. Without relying on other methods of the generation and completion stages of empowerment and mudra, without needing the hope that superior seeing will arise or the doubt that it will not arise, one recognizes it in one's own nature, the original, uncorrected state. The meaning of the four: view, meditation, action, and result, is clearly seen at once. Those are also from the tantra "Nangsi Khajor Dudtsi Chudthig": View sees clearly with impartiality, without fixation. Meditation arises clearly with non-conceptuality, without change. Action sees clearly with the Buddha's intention, without effort. Result sees clearly without hope or doubt, without accomplishment. Thus it is said. Thus, by ascertaining and examining the deluded mind, one is naturally liberated from the evil bonds of viewing permanence, annihilation, self, and characteristics. The meaning of realizing the superior seeing of selflessness is manifested, like finding a wish-fulfilling jewel from oneself or naturally.
