Surrounded by the assembly of wrathful deities, the twenty-four Yoginis of Purna, Brahma himself with a conch-like throat, the sage Moonlight Youth, the six brothers of Ekajati, and her fourteen handmaidens, fifty-eight servants, and again hundreds of thousands of servants, the assembly of Dakinis, as numerous as the dust particles of a kalpa's field, surrounded by countless billions of kotis. The mind emanation of that wrathful one, such as Vajrapani, is surrounded by immeasurable wrathful ones. Even to the assemblies of those retinues, the most secret and unsurpassed Dharma, this very clear sun of space, the peaceful emanated bodies, all the actions of liberation, are solely the business of the wrathful ones, endowed with wisdom. All inferior beings, fearing and trembling at this, take birth only in the realms of the five Buddha families. This is the manifestation of the intention and conduct of the sphere, wisdom, and compassion. Thus it is said. Thus, the basis of all appearances in the Bardo of Dharmata is the spontaneously accomplished eight doors, and these are gathered into the appearances of sound, light, and rays. Therefore, the Bardos of the three Kayas are also of one essence, but the coarse and subtle habits of dualistic perception, or the stains of arising from all, and the obscurations, appear different only in the order of separation. Here, the intermingling of the spontaneously accomplished Nirmanakaya Bardo and the grounds is also meaningful, and there is no fault of error. Thus, in the Tantra of the Three Words, it is said: "Emaho! Son of noble family, after the breath has ceased, the pure appearances of the fifth day will arise. At that time, three terrors will come: light, sound, and rays will come. The light is the self-light of the Sugatas, subtle and clear, bright and dazzling, the splendor of its own nature is frightening, like a mirage shimmering on a summer plain, filling all the realms of the world, coming shimmering. Do not be afraid of it! The sound is the self-sound of Dharmata from within all the light, as loud and powerful as the roar of a thousand dragons, coming with a diriri sound. Do not be startled by it! From the light, rays like a rain of weapons will arise, and like rain falling, various forms of weapons will come in a confused manner. Do not be terrified by it! Not fearing, not being startled, not being terrified by these three is the practice of the three practices of the present moment."

Whoever took it, so there is no fear! No panic! No dread! Therefore, one should become familiar with pure appearances! Thus it is said. From the "Instructions to a Son": At the time of one's death, the five lights are clear and dazzling, naturally radiant and frightening. On the vast northern plains of summer, they will come shimmering like a mirage. Do not be afraid of that! Rays of light will come like a rain of weapons. Do not be terrified of that! From within all the light, the natural sound of reality will be fierce and great, like the roar of a thousand dragons. Do not be alarmed by that! Not fearing, not panicking, not dreading these three is Buddhahood. Thus it is said. The instructions for liberation at these times are: the appearances of clear light and union, like a mother embracing her child, and like an unchanging golden spike in the four unions, and like methods such as a great arrow shot that spontaneously accomplishes and never turns back, and the key points of knowing how to enter, the key points of the time of liberation, the key points of the ultimate result are: they gather into the instructions for liberation in the bardo of reality, the great perfection of clear light Tögal. If we explain a little of those meanings: From the key point of the present, abiding in one's own place in the bardo, and striking the three key points with Trekchö (Tibetan: ཁྲེགས་ཆོད་, meaning Cutting Through), and especially from the basis of Tögal, the great expanse of the wisdom mandala, the lamp of the path is as clear as the sky, not different from oneself. At the tip and center of the rays of light of the sphere that appear to be connected to oneself, the five Buddha bodies and palaces mature into bodies in the mandala of empty bindus, and the nature of the body, together with the bindu chain (Tibetan: ལུ་གུ་རྒྱུད, meaning bindu chain), arises with the great self-power of wisdom, directly cutting the bonds of objectification and grasping of delusion. Those lights that are like cloth on the outside, liberating the nature of self-awareness, objectification, and grasping in its own place, into the undifferentiated ground of absorption, is like liberation as a mother embraces her child, going towards emptiness, and awareness entering into light. When the lamp appears outwards from the ground mandala, dualistic grasping and conceptual thought subside, and knowing that it is self-appearance, awareness is held in the samadhi of uninterrupted self-nature, hence it is said that awareness enters into light. In the sequence of the manifestation of the liberation of dualistic appearance in the self-face in reality, the enjoyment is perfected, liberated from the contaminated aggregates and the inner and outer phenomena of afflictions.
