Thus it is said, from the great Garuda, one dwells in oneself but seeks afar; taking effortless bliss as effort, one gladly accepts; there is no disease greater than breaking vows. Thus it is said. From the Tantra of the Wisdom Expanse: By looking at me, there is no place to see, but by not looking and abiding, one meets with seeing itself; do not meditate, rest without wavering; by resting in the state of immovability, one meets with meditation itself; in conduct, rest what can be done in the state of non-doing; by resting in the state of non-doing, one meets with conduct itself; those who desire to attain me, rest without attainment in the state of self-nature; attain the great fruit of non-abiding; by non-attainment, one meets with the meaning of attainment. Thus it is said. Summarizing the key points and explaining the qualities: the summary of the key points of the four methods of abiding, and the qualities. The first is: by resting the naked awareness (awareness let be) in its own state, the mind and its objects (appearances and the ocean) dissolve into the expanse, and without the faults of sinking or excitement, one firmly (like a mountain) abides; in this single point, all four are perfected. From the supreme tantra without letters: the great fundamental intention is, the number is determined by four. Thus it is said. If one directly recognizes as a friend, it is resting effortlessly in the state of one. Thus it is said. The second quality is: from the very moment of effortless abiding without birth (of the wisdom of higher seeing), ignorance is cut off at the root; overpowering the dominion of the gods above; the basis of all, those with characteristics, the pure fruit, not being born in the formless realm, is swept away with a broom; the essence of emptiness, the appearance of the Dharmakaya as the path; the unwavering of appearance let be, beyond thought, beyond affirmation and negation, resting, overpowering the dominion of the intermediate state; desire is cut off at the root; the form realm is swept away with a broom; the self-appearance of the wisdom of self-luminousness, the path of the Sambhogakaya; the mind without name, free from elaboration, clear and profound, thoughts self-liberated like the ocean, resting effortlessly; overpowering the dominion of the hells below; hatred is cut off at the root; the desire realm is swept away with a broom, with compassion pervading, manifesting as the Nirmanakaya path, the all-illuminating Nirmanakaya; the lotus-holder enjoys; the great wheel of bliss, overpowering in the self-nature of the Dharmakaya; the three bodies are liberated in their own state without attainment, now even a single session of meditation is said to be like reaching the state of the wisdom guru.

From the lineage of single-pointed focus, these three methods of settling, which condense everything into one, with these unobtainable three bodies, subdue the three realms of existence, suppress the three grounds, cut the root of the three poisons, and sweep away the three realms with a broom. The manifestation of essence, nature, and compassion. Thus it is said. Furthermore, obtaining the body of Mount Meru abiding is the attainment of abiding in the indivisible, vajra-like ultimate reality, free from elaboration, and the union of relative bliss, manifest enlightenment, and appearances. Secondly, the instructions on how to secure a firm position in the three bodies through the gateway of samadhi are threefold, of which the first is: the samadhi of the vajra-like dharmakaya in one's own place. Without creating any artificial constructs of grasping at any of the objects of the six consciousnesses, one secures a firm position in the dharmakaya by abiding in a state of vast, primordial purity, free from conceptualization, without inner, outer, or intermediate. From the "Six Spaces": In short, body and speech each in their own place, the arising aspects of mind not leaking outwards, even for the six objects of the senses, the mind of mindful discernment does not waver, in the great non-conceptual space of self-appearance, clarity and non-conceptuality arise as experience. Thus it is said. Secondly, the samadhi of wisdom mudra is: the yogi who secures a firm position in the state of the clear, empty, and pure nature of the sambhogakaya, in which the secret dharmata meaning of space, clear and empty, appears, naturally free from distraction and contraction, by focusing the body in the lotus posture and gazing intently at the outer space. From the same text: The samadhi that increases appearances is: holding the measure of the pure self-appearance of body, objects, and awareness. Thus it is said. Thirdly, the samadhi of the great falling place is: when the proliferation of conceptual thought arises, one does not look at its face, nor follow it, but rather releases whatever arises with a sudden impact, letting it dissolve on its own, relaxing into the wisdom thunderbolt, or abiding in one's own nature, which is called the nirmanakaya yoga of indivisible awareness and emptiness. From the same text: The samadhi of the great thunderbolt fall is: the body is like ordinary, speech is free from words and expressions, the mind is not tightly bound, and one does not stray from the self-arising state. Thus it is said. The way of these is also from the same text: Whoever holds this samadhi is also exceedingly pleased with the three bodies. Thus it is said. Here, the two, falling and increasing, are slightly intertwined with some expressions, but appearance is the sambhogakaya, and the view
