the key points of etc.; the key point of the door is to focus the eyes on the tip of the nose, which is the key to eliminating agitation; praising in the space is the key to clearing sinking; looking directly at it has the key to the union of calm and insight. Another key point of the door is that when the eyes are raised to the sky, the key to opening the root of wisdom in the heart can stop ignorance, so it can clear drowsiness and sleep. Looking directly at the eyes opens the light veins, which can be used in the pure land of Sambhogakaya, and anger stops, so it can eliminate harmful thoughts and remorse. Focusing on the tip of the nose opens the root of merit, and because it is not used in doubt and the environment, it can eliminate greed, so agitation and desire will not occur. In this way, because it is the most excellent for eliminating the five obstacles, this is also the antidote to suppression. In particular, the key to the environment is divided into two types: appearance and non-appearance. Appearance means holding the mind in various environments or in the support of body, speech, and mind; non-appearance means holding the mind in dependent and independent things. The former is to hold on to the ordinary impure forms and other environments, and the latter is to hold on to the pure body, speech, and mind of appearance. The former is the five environments of form, etc. Holding on to the pure body is good if there is a portrait of the lama; otherwise, hold on to the body of the Buddha. Speech refers to writing down whatever environment holds the letters; mind refers to building stupas, etc. In general, the object of appearance is the written, sculpted, and manifested establishment. Non-appearance is the practice of the mind. The so-called independence is the key to the method of establishment, and it is equally established in the special place in the three shakes of the void. Secondly, when actually practicing samadhi, in the two types of calm and insight, when practicing calm first, practice the difference between the support and the object in order, and there are two types of samadhi achieved by this. The first is to make the unachieved achieve, and the second is to make the achieved not decline but increase. The first is to hold on to ordinary things and to hold on to special supports. The first is to place an object in front of you and hold your mind on it, and hold on to its shape and color, etc. Similarly, hold the mind on the sounds of the pipa, flute, round drum, etc., on the smells of congenital and combined origins, on the tastes of cane sugar, salt, wine, sour, etc., on soft clothes.

One should properly practice focusing on tangible objects such as roughness. Furthermore, one should train in the four sounds: that is, one closes one's eyes and touches the ground with one's hand, and because it is heavy and cool, one should focus on this tactile sensation without letting the mind wander elsewhere; Furthermore, in order to listen to the sound of water, one should listen to the sound of a strong mountain stream flowing in autumn; or, if not, one should listen to the loud sound of water falling from a high ditch into a low pit; The sound of fire is to light a large fire in front of oneself and listen with one's ears turned towards it; Or one can make the holes of a wind lamp oneself; Or, if not, one can succeed by listening to the sound from windy crevices in very cold places; Furthermore, the characteristics of sounds are: the sound of earth is heavy and cool; the sound of water is sinking and swaying; the sound of fire is roaring and thick; the sound of wind is forceful, cold and strong; Therefore, the sound of earth knows animals; the sound of fire knows hungry ghosts and hells; the sound of water knows gods; the sound of wind knows the languages of humans and asuras, thereby obtaining clairvoyance; By listening to the sound of earth, one obtains mastery over the earth element; Real and unreal things; unreal things become real things; moving earth; transforming earth; entering the earth, etc., the earth cannot suppress; one will not fall into a ravine; Through water, one gains control over water; through fire, one gains control over fire; through wind, one gains control over wind; through fire, one gains clairvoyance; through water, one cuts off doubts about the essence of unborn emptiness, which is compassion; through wind, one implants the fortune of increasing experience into one's being; Training in the forms of the elements is: one should focus one's eyes on them without letting the mind wander; the shapes are: earth is square; water is round; fire is triangular; wind is crescent-shaped; the colors are white, yellow, red, and green; In this way, one can also accomplish subduing power; the posture is either like an elephant or the seven-point posture; the way of looking is not necessary for training in sound, but for training in form, one needs to look straight; These are either completed or it is okay even if they are not done; Secondly, focusing on the body, speech, and mind of the Tathagata, the first of the three is: a thangka with a peaceful appearance is the most excellent; without having a second image in mind, focusing on it is necessary to pacify discursive thoughts; focusing on a wrathful image is necessary to eliminate obstacles in this life and the next; Furthermore, focusing on a peaceful image pacifies hatred, pride, and jealousy; focusing on a wrathful image pacifies desire, miserliness, and ignorance; Furthermore, focusing on a peaceful image pacifies afflictions;
