First, the mandala of peaceful mind appears, that is, in the center of the light of the blue, vast, and pervasive lamp of empty bindus, in the midst of five-colored radiance, eight lions and jewels, sun and moon, lotus, that is, on top of five-tiered seats, countless inconceivable bodies of Vairochana with the consort Dharmadhatu-ishvari appear, in their hearts are the complete five small families, accompanied by the father, accompanied by the mother, accompanied by ornaments, with peaceful demeanor, bright and radiant, majestic and beautiful, soft, light, entwined and graceful, youthful appearance, bright and radiant, glorious, radiating light, that is, the nine aspects of peace, and eight jewel ornaments, and five silk garments, etc., having a peaceful demeanor, color blue, accompanied by ornaments. That is, first half-body, second alone, third accompanied by ornaments, fourth accompanied by the mother, gradually becoming vast, the main deity is thirty-two cubits tall, the retinue are half of that, the main deity is not larger than the main deity, the retinue are not smaller than the retinue, appearing equally.
