The bindu arises effortlessly and spontaneously without day or night, cutting off verbal elaborations, not letting the mind dwell on other things, ceasing the flow of speech, and severing the root of non-elaboration. This transformation into self-purity occurs in two years. From that very nature, the lamp of the empty bindu arises spontaneously without effort. These are all signs of one's own experience, cutting off all verbal elaborations. Thus it is said. Thereafter, even in two years, knowing the measure of awareness itself, one enters the self-appearance of the expanse and awareness without separation. Also, in the arising of self-purity, there is no doubt about this transformation. Thus it is said. Third, becoming accustomed to the body of continuous awareness, in the internal and external differences between body and wisdom, the first is that the body is not seen by others, and the spontaneously arising self-abiding meditation without effort in the continuum is the measure of becoming accustomed to the Dharmakaya, a sign of passing into nirvana in the realm of the bodies of all Buddhas in this life. Furthermore, the lamp obscures the appearance of delusion, seeing appearances as the body, the cessation of all negative speech, and unobstructed miraculous powers are the measure of becoming accustomed to the Sambhogakaya of speech vajra, and a sign of passing into nirvana in the bardo within the realm of speech. Moreover, all the teachings previously heard and unheard arise in the continuum, and whatever is spoken becomes Dharma. One becomes the master of speech, knowing each word and meaning of the continuum, scriptures, and instructions accurately. Great compassion arises effortlessly, and one engages in benefiting others. The body can transform the means of benefiting sentient beings into countless forms, and the ability to give away one's head and limbs are the measure of liberation into the nature of the Nirmanakaya through becoming accustomed to the Nirmanakaya. Secondly, by becoming accustomed to the continuous self-appearance, one can enter into any knowledge and transform the disbelief of others, which is a sign of approaching the unborn supreme. The detailed explanation of these signs and what is to be known is clear in the glorious Great Tantra of the Blazing Body. As a sign of becoming accustomed to the intrinsic purity within, all births of the body cease, and hair, nails, lice, fleas, insects, and ants are self-purified. Secondly, through the blessing of the Tögal practitioner directly seeing the mandala of the expanse and wisdom, the accumulations are completed.

My obscurations are greater and faster than other forces, therefore, the three minds, mind, intellect, and consciousness, with attachment to the essence of things, bind the body, strongly clinging to clarity, through self-liberation, obtaining the perfection of the ten powers, thereby not being harmed, and, the sign of the elements returning to their own state is that the body is light and wide like cotton, there is no obstruction to the four elements, there are no white hairs and wrinkles, afflictions and emotions are scarce, even if searching, they cannot be found, etc., these are all spoken of during the four appearances. In the Refutation it says: After practicing like this, the signs and measures are like this: the body is light, clear, and transparent, not touching the ground, without obstruction, the power of speech is complete, words are exhausted, the mind is able to transfer. The eyes, ears, nose, and tongue, all the senses of the body are exhausted, this is the measure of becoming selfless. Second, the signs and measures of immovable samadhi are: In the Six Realms it says: The measure of samadhi abiding in its own state is the essence of not being harmed by the enemy of the elements. Likewise, the measure of thunderbolt-like samadhi is that afflictions such as desire, etc., will never arise in one's own continuum, unwholesome thoughts will never arise, this is the essence of all its measures. The measure of great expansive samadhi is the essence of the cessation of coarse appearances. Third, the signs and measures of steadfast confidence are: In Self-Arisen it says: The measure of no birth is in no death. The measure of no cessation is in appearing in various ways. The measure of no change is in being profound. The measure of vastness is in being without beginning or end. The measure of realization is in not being distracted. The measure of non-fabrication is in being without fault. The measure of taking realization into the path is in being without rising or falling. The measure of the instruction striking home is in the exhaustion of appearances. Second, the external signs of mastering power from the perspective of others are: In general, the sign of becoming a Buddha is that of attaining complete and perfect enlightenment in this life without remaining aggregates, that is, abiding in the essence body of the self-arisen wisdom of the ground, the realization that accords with reality increases, without abandoning the ordinary body, the body transforms into the vajra nature. The nature abides in the light of speech, realization increases into suchness, without abandoning speech, transforming into the enjoyment body. Great compassion wisdom
