and has. From that itself, it says: Generates all qualities' essence, establishes various definitions of qualities. And, from "Detailed Arrangement," it says: The qualities of the perfectly complete Buddha are boundless and limitless, like a wish-fulfilling jewel. And, the distinctions of these qualities should be understood from the chapter on qualities in the Uttaratantra and what appears below. Fifth, activity also has three aspects: The essence is: The activity of establishing sentient beings in benefit and happiness until samsara is not empty. The definition is: It is designated from the aspect of purifying the obscurations of beings' realms and allowing them to breathe in the supreme state of the three kayas. The distinctions are: the five peaceful, increasing, powerful, wrathful, and spontaneous accomplishments, as well as the thirty-six activities, the twelve activities, and so on. From "Perfected Skill," it says: Activity accomplishes essence, activity accomplishes action, it shows the four distinctions. And, from the Uttaratantra, it says: For the realms of those to be tamed, the actions of taming, and their places and suchness, the pervasive lord always dwells spontaneously accomplished. Second is: In the "Root Text," it says: That is also five fives in each occasion. Thus, if all the Buddha's teachings, such as the thirty-five sets of fives, are gathered closely, from the first of the five sets of fives, the five kayas: The sphere of the blueprint of all kayas, free from elaboration, the essence of the dharmata suchness, the three kayas indivisible, abiding in its own ground, is the attainment of the immutable vajra kaya. From "Self-Arisen," it says: The vajra kaya that does not abide at the limit. And, from the "Confession Tantra," it says: Dharma and form kaya indivisible, vajra kaya. Thus it is said. The two obscurations to be abandoned, along with their imprints, are completely purified, and the uncontaminated kaya, wisdom, and qualities to be realized are completely manifested and realized, therefore it is the attainment of the kaya of complete enlightenment. From the "Wisdom Net," it says: By being stainless, it is purified, and by the increase of qualities, it is realized. Because the two are non-dual and mixed, because of union, it is called the kaya of complete enlightenment. And, from the "Confession Tantra," it says: Without seeking qualities, spontaneously perfect, kaya of manifest enlightenment. Thus it is said. All the elaboration of the three realms' minds, mental factors, and grasping and being grasped are completely pacified, and after intelligence is liberated in the dharmadhatu, following in accordance with the dharmata as it is, obscuring

Although from the perspective of realizing the primordial union of the Great Perfection within the expanse of reality, there is no wavering, it is not like the wisdom that has completely eradicated the basis of obstruction. Rather, the inner clarity and knowing are unceasing, each being the great body of self-aware wisdom. As the foundation for all bodies and wisdom, it is spontaneously accomplished, and from the aspect of uncontaminated qualities such as power, it is the Dharmakaya. In the Magical Net Tantra, it says, "Great and small wisdom are clear within; the aimless foundation is the Dharmakaya." In the Confession Tantra, it says, "The union of appearance and emptiness, free from elaboration, is the Dharmakaya." In the Wisdom Space, it says, "The Dharmakaya's self-arisen awareness has no birth or cessation in the three times; since there is no coming or going, it abides from the beginning." These statements strongly refute the view that wisdom ceases at the time of enlightenment. Therefore, even at the time of enlightenment, it is not that all appearances cease and there is only emptiness, or that there is only a mind-body like in the formless realms. To believe in a Dharmakaya that has no pure appearances at all is a great slander of the Buddha. Therefore, from the state of the Dharmakaya where all elaborations of grasping and being grasped are pacified, the pure and vast mandala, the wheel of body, speech, mind, qualities, and activities, adorned without interruption, appears as the Sambhogakaya, the self-manifestation of the Buddha himself. And from that self-manifest Sambhogakaya, like a reflection, to the ocean of maturing Bodhisattvas of the ten bhumis, the form of the Nirmanakaya, endowed with the unique marks and signs of the five certainties, effortlessly appears. In the Secret Essence Tantra, it says, "The form body of true liberation." In the Confession Tantra, it says, "From the attainment of the bhumis onwards, the appearances are enjoyment, and the marks and signs that adorn are the Sambhogakaya." In the Ornament of Clear Realization, it says, "The thirty-two marks and eighty signs, this is what the Great Vehicle enjoys, the Victorious One's complete Sambhogakaya." Other than that, for impure sentient beings, in accordance with their karma, prayers, and inclinations, the four types of Nirmanakaya appear continuously, like a wish-fulfilling jewel that fulfills the hopes of beings, this is the Nirmanakaya. In the Secret Essence Tantra, it says, "The agreeable body appears in various ways." In the Confession Tantra, it says, "In all appearances from the path of joining downwards, the activities appear differently.
