Although the numbers are many, there are two: karma winds and wisdom winds. The wisdom wind is mixed with the mind, and the mind is mixed with the karma winds. In the state where wind and mind are inseparable, all actions are performed by the all-gathering wind. Thus it is said. Furthermore, the wind that spreads from within the heart, through the three channels, etc., throughout the entire body; the white, upward-moving wind passes from the heart through the spleen and spreads throughout the entire body, residing in the four joints and generating the strength of flesh, bones, and skin; the yellow wind of radiance emerges from the heart, passes through the kidney channels, and comes out at the shoulder blades, generating the luster of the entire body; the fire-equalizing, heat-lowering wind, with the nature of bright red light, emerges from the liver channel and pervades the entire body from head to toe, performing the function of digesting food in the stomach; the green wind that separates the essence from the dross goes from the heart to the lungs and pervades the entire body, especially moving and residing in the mouth and nose; after separating the essence from the dross of food, the essence is absorbed into the body as nourishment for strength, and the dross is expelled as urine and feces; the wind without compassion, with the nature of bright indigo light, resides inseparably from the heart and awareness, severing the life of samsara and nirvana. Therefore, the life-sustaining wind resides in the heart; the fire-equalizing wind in the stomach; the pervasive wind in the limbs; the downward-clearing wind in the genitals; the upward-moving wind resides in the upper body, so the upward-moving wind again has the four winds of earth, water, fire, and wind, each running five thousand four hundred times a day, thus running a cycle of twenty-six thousand six hundred. Other winds that flow from the channels number one hundred and twenty-two thousand, which, when separated by skillful means and wisdom, act as the horse of thought; and the winds residing in the center of the five chakras, in the crown chakra there are five winds, the chakra has five spokes and the shape of a rim. In the throat it is like the tongue of a dog; in the heart it is in the form of an eight-sided jewel; in the navel it is in the form of five arrows; each of the elemental winds of its own realm is the main one, while the others are complete in the manner of retinues; and the secret wind is in the shape of a bow, that is, twenty-five kinds of natures blazing with rays of light. The places of these reside in the heart and the three channels, and mature in their respective places, and temporarily also run in the channels, flowing, acting as the horse of body, speech, and mind, running throughout the three realms. In the Extensive Sutra it says: The wind runs from within the three channels, five...

Four hundred movements are earth and wind, and so are fire and water. Twenty-six thousand six hundred times it changes. The actions it performs are of two kinds: moving upwards and expelling waste downwards. All phenomena of existence rely on wind. Wind is the doer of all things. Thus it is said. The uplifting wind is like white light, emerging from the heart and the bile duct, pervading and abiding throughout the body. The radiant wind is like yellow light, emerging from the heart and the kidney duct. The fire-equalizing, warmth-bestowing wind abides in the heart in the form of red light. The wind that separates the pure from the impure is green, abiding in the heart together with light. The merciless karmic wind, with blue light, abides in the heart. Thus it is said. The five winds of gathered memory, Citta (藏文,梵文天城体,梵文罗马拟音,Mind) are like a precious eight-sided gem. The gathering of all tastes in the throat is the wind's form, like the tongue of a jackal. The five winds that arrange the tip, are a wheel with eight spokes and a circumference. Thus it is said. Twenty-one thousand and two thousand, become the greatly moving wind. That which definitely moves from the channels, is one hundred thousand and twenty-two thousand, becoming the slightly moving wind. Thus and so forth it is said. Third, regarding the explanation of thigle (bindu): The thigle of ultimate reality, the nature of phenomena, is like the arising of wisdom, both conventional and ultimate. Relying on that, the root, free from elaboration, the thigle, abides with the three dharmas of co-emergent awareness and wisdom. The thigle of the five elements and substances: the essence of the arising of conventional support, the white thigle obtained from the father, abides in the Roma, hence it is semen and heart-strength. The lunar aspect of means, from which twenty-four thousand of its lineage propagate, has the white thigle, but especially from the upper end of the Roma it enters the tip of the central channel, hence the form of the Hum syllable (藏文,梵文天城体,梵文罗马拟音,Hum) is the main place of abiding. Kyangma is the twenty-four thousand of the lineage where the red particulate nature of the thigle abides. Blood is the solar aspect of wisdom, from four fingers below the navel of Kyangma it enters the central channel, appearing in the form of Eh The reason is that the mouths of these two, Ro and Kyang, are above and below, and it is said that there is nothing else, but it is not that there is nothing. Know that both Ro and Kyang are similar in that they have mouths both above and below, but due to the difference in the increasing and decreasing of elements, it should be said that there is none on each side.
