In the center of the heart, the Dharmakaya abides in emptiness, devoid of any characteristics. Awareness abides clearly, without cessation. It abides transparently, without obscuration. The spontaneously accomplished manifestation abides without ceasing. Thus it is said. Firstly, when the root is cut and faults are sought through the guru's instructions, the very nature of the mind is such that it does not arise as any substantial characteristic of form, shape, or color, and is empty of the five bodies of characteristics. This is the way of abiding in non-substantiality, absence of characteristics, and primordial purity. From this very nature, the essence of one's own awareness is clear and bright. It does not arise as any object or color, but abides empty and clear. This is it. O Secret Lord! Empty of the coarse body of flesh and blood, empty of the body of Samadhi with pure objects, empty of the body of light with characteristics, empty of the body of discriminating wisdom, empty of the body of wandering mind. Thus, being empty, it does not arise as a characteristic. Thus it is said. In the Intent of the Heart: O Secret Lord! Since it abides as the Buddha's Dharmakaya, Wisdom Body, and Light Body, there is no form of characteristics, or no body of characteristics. Thus it is said. In the 'Vast Expanse': Empty of the coarse body of aggregates, empty of the body of wandering mind, empty of the body of Samadhi with objects, pure is the body of light of discriminating wisdom. Thus it is said. Secondly, there are four aspects: The wisdom of the Dharmakaya, in the unborn equality, wisdom is transparent, in the non-duality of subject and object, it is clear in the single intent. Firstly, that very wisdom of the intrinsically clear Dharmakaya, in the past, since there is no birth, it is spontaneously accomplished without arising from causes; in the future, it is the Vajra body without cessation or death; in the present, since it is not under the control of the mind, it is self-illuminating as primordially enlightened. The essence and expanse, the phenomena of Samsara and Nirvana, are said to be the blessing of primordial, inseparable, and equal nature. Therefore, it is bound by the Makara Mudra of Great Equality, and is called the hero who conquers the four Maras. In the 'Tantra of the Lamp of Wisdom': O Secret Lord! Since your own awareness has no birth or death, it is clear in the equality of the three times. Thus it is said. In the 'Tantra of the Self-Arisen Buddha': Your own awareness has no birth or death, and abides in the equality of the three times. Thus it is said.

Furthermore, in 'Don Sal' it says, 'The immutable Dharmakaya of non-duality, the emptiness is like a vajra body.' Also, in 'Kun Sal' it says, 'Because the Dharmakaya is unborn, it conquers the Mara of the Lord of Death; because it is without characteristics, it conquers the Mara of the skandhas; because these two are non-dual, it conquers the Mara of afflictions and the Mara of the sons of the gods.' Secondly, the Buddha's Dharmakaya has no form of characteristics, so it is free from the elaborations of front and back. Wisdom and self-awareness have no inner or outer, and are not obscured by a shell, so it is clear and thoroughly clear in the nature of ten directions, and is always a face. In detail, it is like the unoriginated mother. In 'Tsal Dzog' it says, 'The face of awareness is unobstructed and clear in the ten directions.' Also, in 'Marme' it says, 'The Buddha's body has no front or back, so wisdom is clearly transparent.' Also, in 'Melong' it says, 'The all-seeing Samantabhadra body has no front or back.' Thirdly, the magical manifestations of the outer mind or the various appearances of self-display do not exist as separate entities like the objects of a dream, but appear as reality through the clarity of non-dual experience, and the basis of that appearance is the inseparable union of the inner awareness, the self-born wisdom self-display, and the appearance of the Sambhogakaya, swirling in the blissful space of a single bindu, so it is clear in its own unelaborated nature, turning away from the dualistic perceptions and grasping of the three realms. In that very text it says, 'Because the radiance of wisdom has no inner or outer, the object and the subject are clear in non-duality.' Fourthly, compassion pervades all, but there is no conceptualization of dividing into factions or biases, and it does not move from the way of abiding in suchness, so it is self-clear in the single intent of the Buddha, the union of space and awareness. In that very text it says, 'Because knowledge has no partiality, the eye of wisdom sees the intent of all dharmas as one.' Thirdly, abiding in unobstructed transparency, this also clearly explains the meaning of the wisdom transparent body abiding in the eye: wisdom abides on the basis of the citta (藏文:ཙིཏྟ་,梵文天城体:चित्त,梵文罗马拟音:citta,汉语字面意思:心) through the path and door of manifestation, and because seeing is clear and uninterrupted, it is transparent 1; the light of the lamp corresponding to awareness is self-clear in the three times of past, future, and present, so it is transparent 2 without obscuring the before and after of time; it is not stained by the suffering of permanence, annihilation, birth, death, aging, and decay, so it is transparent 3; it is not obscured by the five characteristic bodies.
