Having realized the meaning that one's own mind is primordially abiding as the Buddha, there is nothing other than becoming emptiness. In the Tantra of the Ocean of Ambrosia, it says: 'Previously, one's own mind has become Buddha; realizing the meaning becomes emptiness; manifestly becomes Buddha.' Secondly, what is to be purified is: the body is obscured by the body; speech is obscured by speech; mind is obscured by mind; places, houses, etc., obscure the five qualities; confused actions obscure activities, so that the nature of the twenty-five result-dharmas is not seen, etc. Those conceptual dharmas that are confused by appearance and attachment to the spontaneously accomplished gate of the basis of confusion are what is to be purified. The manner of obscuration of these, etc., along with the scriptures, has already been explained when explaining how sentient beings are confused, so that is sufficient here. That is to say, from the power of purifying the defilements of the three gates, the result, the three kayas, along with qualities and activities, are obtained. Therefore, in the *Madhyamakavatara* it says: 'The Dharmakaya is obtained by the action of the mind; the Sambhogakaya is obtained in the form of speech; the Nirmanakaya is of the body.' Thirdly, the cause of purification has two aspects: common and special. The first is: for the two kayas, it is the two accumulations; for wisdom, it is the wisdom that holds the dharma of the three pitakas like a mirror; focusing on the equality of samsara and nirvana is equality; teaching the dharma to sentient beings is individual realization; doing the work of benefiting others is the cause of accomplishing activity wisdom. As it says in the *Ornament*: 'Because of holding and because of equality of mind, and because of truly teaching the excellent dharma, and because of accomplishing activity, the four wisdoms truly arise.' The second is: the mandala that fully possesses the kayas, speech, mind, qualities, and activities of the result Buddha, through the generation and completion stages of secret mantra, and through Dzogchen, being placed in equipoise on the wheel of clear light day and night, during the time of temporary equipoise, and until the ultimate spontaneously accomplished vidyadhara and the great one of dharma exhaustion and mind transcendence, the cause of gradually exhausting all impure karma, afflictions, and ripening, the result comes solely from this. First, by practicing without separating from Lugu Gyü (a lineage or practice), the body becomes the cause of separation obscured by the vajra body; abiding in the sphere of the nature of light bindus, without separating from the lamp of pure dharmadhatu, therefore the object-grasping is liberated in its own place, becoming the cause of separation of speech and qualities, the clear light Ye

The great secret sound of the wisdom self-arisen lamp of the five kayas. Through the practice with the mudra of the lamp of empty bindus, the five wisdoms will be purified from the obscurations of the mind, and by abandoning the nine activities, abiding in the state of effortless naturalness, the five activities obscured by the negative actions and attachments of the three doors will be purified. Therefore, in all the Dzogchen tantras, placing the nine vehicles and the ten substances of the tantras equally in the meaning of rigpa and dharmata is said to be the adornment of the Great Perfection of the path and ground. Fourth, liberation in separation: explained through the door of connections, manifesting as twenty-five aspects of fruition, summarizing and clarifying the meaning, there are three parts. The first is: In general, if all the fruition dharmas are gathered, they can be summarized into five: kaya, speech, mind, qualities, and activities. As it says in "Treasure of Qualities": The kayas of the Buddhas and, the mandalas of speech and mind, and qualities and activities, appear as five. And as it says in "The Mirror of the Mind of Kuntuzangpo": The mandala of kaya is the unchanging space, the mandala of speech is the unobstructed space, the mandala of mind is the non-conceptual space, the mandala of qualities is the wish-fulfilling mind, the mandala of activities enjoys the effortless realm. Thus, the aspects of liberation of the five kayas, speech, mind, qualities, and activities are bound by the three connections of essence, definition, and division. First, regarding kaya, the essence is: the great permanence without change, as explained in the meaning of the three permanences. Definition: It is called kaya because it is complete as the basis or body of the ocean of the dharmadhatu of the Buddhas. The division is the five kayas, etc. Thus, as it says in "Treasure of Qualities": The essence of kaya is without change, the definition of kaya is clear and radiant. And as it says in "Self-Arisen": Abides as the five kayas of unchanging meaning. Second, regarding speech, there are also three parts: The essence of speech is the great communicator and the self-arisen emptiness of sound. The definition is that it appears as various collections of dharmas. The division is that it appears as the five speeches, etc. As it says in that same text: The essence of speech is empty with sound, the definition of speech arises in various ways. These also, as it says in "Treasure of Qualities": The meaning of speech itself is like this, the essence of speech is empty with sound, the
