Although all parts of the perfect illusion of light and emptiness are the cause of the separation and purification of the two bodies, wisdom, and activities, here, from the path of the direct perception of reality, the practice of the three bodies of the Great Perfection of the Luminous Thögal in reverse order, like shooting a great arrow, attains the peace of non-returning to samsara. As the Rapjam says: "Whoever is accustomed to the key point of direct perception, this is like a man who has shot an arrow, how could it ever turn back?" Secondly, in the vajra realm of how peace is attained, there are three parts: establishing the connection of the root meaning, explaining through the door of branches, and summarizing the meaning at the end. The first is: understanding through view, taking to heart through meditation, and the manifestation of the result, which is the purification of the obscuring impurities, along with their habitual tendencies, into the expanse of reality. This is the clear manifestation of the lineage that is naturally present within oneself. For example, it is like seeing the sun in the sky when the clouds have cleared. As the Gyü Lama says: "What is called self-luminous nature is like the sun and the sky, suddenly arising with disturbing emotions, and the dense clouds of what is to be known, are said to be obscurations because they obscure it. The stainless Buddha, endowed with all qualities, is the eternal, unchanging Buddha. It is through non-conceptual wisdom that one attains such a result." Furthermore, it is not that the impurities have their own characteristics and are then removed. For example, in the nature of space, clouds are not truly present, but they arise suddenly, and because they do not enter the nature of space, they can be removed, and they do not transform space in the slightest. Likewise, they are not established in the nature of reality, and the obscurations of the nature of reality are not permanent, and because they arise suddenly, they can be removed, and they do not perform any good or bad actions in the nature of reality. Due to the power of conceptual thought, one binds and releases oneself, like a dream. Therefore, the Gyü of the Great Bliss of Body, Speech, and Mind says: "Like illusion, dream, and so on, habitual tendencies are like the nature of clouds, from non-existence, one grasps existence, and from existence, there is non-existence." And the Gyü Lama says: "Impurities have the nature of arising suddenly, qualities have the nature of self-nature, as it was before, so it is afterwards, the unchanging nature of reality is just like that." Secondly, one ceases and becomes enlightened through the four dharmas, and one is born and becomes enlightened through the five dharmas.

Through the gateway of becoming a Buddha, and through one abiding, the way in which the Buddha attains peaceful Nirvana through the gateway of the five essences is explained. From the Tantra of the Lamp of Wisdom: If one recognizes the intention of the Buddha, then through one cessation, one becomes a Buddha through the four ways of reversion. Through one arising, one becomes a Buddha through the five ways of Dharma. Through one abiding, one becomes a Buddha through the five essences, and attains peaceful Nirvana. Thus it is said. First, showing the essence is: From the Lamp of Wisdom: Recognizing the body of the Buddha is that one cessation, this impure and deluded appearance is the reversion to the pure realm of the Buddha. This city of Samsara is the reversion to the palace of wisdom. This mind with thought is the reversion to wisdom without thought. This coarse body of flesh and blood is the reversion to a body of light. Thus it is said. Explaining it separately: That is also like saying that the root of the five kinds of Samsara is the power of ignorance and dualistic grasping. For example, just as the cause and condition of eye delusion causes the appearance of two moons and the delusion of grasping at a rope as a snake. Dharmadhatu is the object, awareness is the mind, and the five lights become the basis of delusion in the body. Now, the antidote is the essence of the self-arisen wisdom light of awareness, the intention of all Buddhas, the indivisibility of realm and awareness, the power of ultimate familiarity, pacifying the defilement of co-emergence. Just as the removal of the cause of eye delusion causes the appearance of a snake to revert and the rope to be seen. The essence of self-awareness and the form body that plays with self-power, and the wisdom realm and palace, realizing that suchness, at the same time as it increases, all the delusions of appearance and grasping in object, body, and mind, are like clouds dissipating in the sky, and are represented by various metaphors, and are called the merging of self-power into the base. In the scripture, in the Lamp of Wisdom, it says: O Buddha, compassionate one! Recognizing the intention of the Buddha, how does one become a Buddha through one cessation and the four ways of reversion? The reply was: Vajra-holder, listen, recognizing the body of the Buddha, through one cessation, this impure and deluded appearance is the reversion to the pure realm of the Buddha. This city of Samsara is the reversion to the palace of wisdom. This mind with thought is the reversion to wisdom without thought.
