Those appearances of the five lights' own radiance clearly appearing in the heart. This is called the self-abiding causal bindu. These two, the bindu arising from the habits of individuals and this one, abiding, are the bindu of ultimate truth. Those two, together with the conventional causal bindu, are called the bindu of the path of appearance. The bindu of ultimate truth, free from elaboration, abides in the single intention of the exhaustion of space and awareness. The spontaneously arising fruit bindu, emptiness, or the self-ripening fruit bindu, that is, the bindu of the ripening of light, wisdom, and awareness, abides in the eye in a manner suitable for ripening in three ways. Those also, from the Abhidharma: "There are five divisions, as follows: The fundamental self-bindu, The conventional causal bindu, The bindu of ultimate truth, free from elaboration, The spontaneously arising fruit bindu, The unchanging empty bindu." And from the Samputa: "There are three bindus: The fundamental holding bindu, The bindu of the path of appearance, The self-ripening fruit bindu." Therefore, the categories such as the wisdom, conventional, and ultimate truth bindus are summarized. From the Commentary on the Ornament: "In the channels is the bindu, The entering bindu has three aspects: The essence is the body bindu, the nature is the light bindu, the compassion is the ray bindu, these three. Planting the seeds of connection between samsara and nirvana, The part symbolizing the space-appearance bindu, also with the five arising bindus of lotus stupa, grid pattern, palace, and means, Establish the mandala of yogic experience. The arranged bindu, six halves, body, self, single, union, the five families with their retinues, and five for each one, that is, clusters and the complete mandala and the appearance of great clusters, that is, Collects the many dharmata into one taste. By relying on that and that, The nature of equality of all dharmas." Furthermore, the bindu of completely pure space, the bindu of space, the bindu of Samantabhadra, the bindu of dharmata, the bindu of wisdom, the bindu of great wisdom, and so on, there are very many names. Fourth, characteristics: If one practices the unpainted halo with five lights, then ten halos appear, and then like a castle courtyard, and then like a rhinoceros hide shield, from the face to the half-body and clusters, etc., appear.
