In the four visions that serve as the path, wisdom gradually separates from the mind, obtaining each separately without mixing. Ultimately, wisdom is free from all the obscurations of the three visions, which is the meaning of the transformation of the path and the ultimate attainment of the fruition of perfect enlightenment. This is the meaning of what was said above. Although there are slight differences in the nature and identification of these four stillnesses, there are many ways of explaining them in the tantras. This (explanation) follows the words of the instructions of the previous vidyadharas. As it is said in the "Seventy Instructions of Dumdum Trik": The view of the mountain-like stillness is unchanging wisdom, as high as a mountain, without action, abiding without moving from the state of space, and one should not separate from it. One should abide in a self-luminous state, that is, one's eyes should not wander from the lamp, and one should not be separated from the lamp of the dharmadhatu. The intention of the ocean-like stillness is not to look in other directions, and just as its state is not moved by the wind, one should not be subject to conditions, but should abide in its own state, and without straying from its intention, in the clear and unscattered appearance, it appears vast, all-pervading, wide, and beautiful. One should look at the lamp with the corner of one's eye, wisdom itself is the state of the dharmadhatu. The instruction of the wisdom-like stillness is for the body of the vajra chain, and that body should also be held within the lamp, without action. In the lamp of the dharmadhatu itself, one should grasp with the means within the means, without moving the eyes. That is, it refers to the three abidings and the three non-movements. Showing the method of appearance-fixation, it is to awaken all direct appearances as the nature of wisdom. Although the appearance itself appears clearly, one should not lose one's mind or cling to reality. That is, all the nature of appearances is without conceptualization, abiding without separating from one's own lamp, abandoning all outer and inner activities, and in an extremely solitary place without conditions, one should look at these stillnesses. Thus it is said. Third, regarding the key points of the instructions on the yoga of the four continuities of view, meditation, conduct, and result, like the general Heart Essence, explaining the practice of the yoga of the four continuities, starting from identifying the meaning of the occasion, the order of how to practice yoga, and its errors and obscurations.

I have cleared away (obstacles). First: In meditative equipoise, the view of directly seeing the nature of self-arisen wisdom, the union of appearance and emptiness; in post-meditation, the view of realizing all phenomena as illusion and dream-like, one should grasp with such conviction; in terms of practice, in meditative equipoise, abide in the state of view, clear and empty, inexpressible; in post-meditation, do not forget the practice of illusion; in terms of conduct: train in spontaneous self-liberation, and inspire with conduct that is in accordance with the times; the result: in the order of gaining conviction in the nature, the qualities of the path arise in the mindstream. Second, from the beginning of determining the meaning of the occasion, how to practice yoga in stages: divided into two parts, explaining the order of the four yogas and summarizing their meaning; in the first part: divided into four parts: view, meditation, conduct, and result; the first part is to determine the nature of the view: divided into the reason of how to practice yoga. First: the view of the view of external phenomena, the view of the view of internal reality, the view of the view of secret self-awareness, although these are completely fulfilled in this view, the difference of each is called the view of the clear seeing lamp. Why? Because at the moment of seeing the manifestation of the direct perception of reality, illusions, misperceptions, etc., are purified in the dharmadhatu. As it says in the Apoha: The categories of terms and names are: external, internal, secret, and unsurpassed four views. External is to observe phenomena, in the respective wishes of the eight stages, it is considered to be the clinging of the mind. Internal is to observe the nature of reality, seeing the essence of self-nature as empty, meditative equipoise is seeing illusion, post-meditation is seeing illusion, this is the view of Mahamudra of mantra, etc. Secret is to observe the wisdom of self-awareness, seeing the interconnectedness of the Lugu lineage and the inseparability of rigpa and emptiness, this is also the way of seeing the view of Trekchö, and the only one is the dharmadhatu, bindu, and the self-arisen lamp of wisdom, as well as the luminosity of the Lugu lineage, etc. Here it is called the view of the union of the dharmadhatu wisdom lamp, which is the ultimate place of all the views of the Buddhas of the three times, as it says in the Completion of Abilities: The ultimate view of all the Buddhas is: not beyond the two of dharmadhatu wisdom. In this way, even if the dharmadhatu wisdom is determined, it is also the sky that has purified the dust of habits.
