Who did it? All the Buddhas of the three times, pass into nirvana in the realm of speech. Thus it is said. Third, the key point of the mind, the non-conceptual mind, the heart vajra dharma seal, which opens the treasure door of the dharmakaya, and causes the mind to pass beyond suffering, consists of: the actual practice and its necessity. The first is: to look at the center of the outer empty sky with the mind, and by looking in this way, to settle the inner sphere, like a lamp of a target, the great clarity-emptiness union, in the center of which appears splendor and glory, settling the awareness as if it were dissolving; rolling the eyes to the center of the eyebrows and restraining them, like a flock of sheep entering the enclosure of the sphere. The nature of the three kayas, awareness-emptiness, the intention of Trekchö, is also limitless. The key point of the mind is like this: the mind is accomplished by settling in the sphere. The three key point instructions should not be moved. In the outer sphere of empty sky, awareness itself is settled as an un fabricated target. By settling without distraction in the outer sphere of emptiness, the inner sphere, the pure lamp, the clear light, appears. Manifestly clear and completely enlightened. Thus it is said. The necessity is: In the Thorough Transformation it says: The mind is accomplished by settling in the sphere. Thus it is said. In the After-Passage it says: The mind is settled in the sky between the eyebrows, the three kayas, awareness-emptiness, appear. Thus it is said. In the Clear Space it says: Thus, by grasping the key point of the mind, the three kayas, awareness-emptiness, appear. Thus it is said. Temporarily, awareness, together with the radiance of wisdom, manifestly appears, and ultimately, the aggregates, without remainder, become enlightened as the dharmakaya. Second, the key point of the door, in particular, the condition for the self-radiance of the sky-clear child to manifestly appear through miraculous power, is: there are three kinds of key points. In the Thorough Transformation it says: The three key point instructions should not be separated. That is, the key points of the door, the object itself, and the wind and awareness should be followed. The door is to look with the eyes of the three kayas, the object is to be free from obscuration. Wisdom is accomplished by the slowness of wind and awareness. Thus it is said. For example, just as if an arrow hits a vital point, there is no escape from death, so by relying on these three, the nature of reality, suchness, the sphere and awareness inseparable, there is no escape from the intention of the Buddhas. The key point of the door causes seeing, the key point of the object causes appearing and not changing, the key point of wind and awareness causes the mind to cease, wisdom appears nakedly, and reaches the limit of inferential wisdom.

It does not abide. Also, from Rangshar it says: Thus, all the key points of the body, etc., are thoroughly pressed, and awareness itself is directly known from the words of the Lama. Thus it says. Of these, the first is to explain the necessity through the door of combining example and meaning, and the second is to explain the manner of truly subduing the way of looking. Of these, the first is that the general necessity of the way of looking is like the fact that no matter how many deities are in a temple without doors, they are not visible; like a lamp inside a vase that cannot be seen if the empty space of the mouth is not fully opened; if the boundary is not connected by the key point of the door, then even if wisdom is in the body, it will not fall directly on the key point; because the nature of reality is left to mental judgment, the common vehicle is ignorant of this key point, so there is no chance to quickly attain Buddhahood; and from the Great Perfection Secret Cycle it is also said: Because the form body is obscured by the body and cannot be seen, it is said that there is no recognition, which is also not understanding the means of direct perception. Also, from Wisdom Space Equality it says: If the obscuration of the womb is not removed, and if there is a possibility of encountering a qualified condition, then from realizing one's own mind as the Dharmakaya, the form body does not arise and is obscured by the body, just as the sun is obscured by clouds. Thus it says. In Nagarjuna's Commentary on the Mind it says: Just as a lamp inside a vase is not visible to all outside, so too, this realm of reality is not visible to all outside. Thus it is said, and it is said to be invisible. Therefore, this key point of the door is very profound. From the All-Embracing it says: The door is to look at the three bodies with the eyes; when the lasso does not move, at this time rely on the three ways of looking; by knowing the way of looking with the eyes, enjoy the realm of reality. The door through which the mind arises is the two eyes; the root of the eye is like a ram's horn; the door through which wisdom arises within the root is like a temple without doors; just as the deities inside are not visible, within the nature of the body itself, the awareness wisdom abides there; because the key point of the door is not known, it is not visible, and all phenomena become mental judgment. Like the door of a temple or the light of a lamp inside a vase shining in the sky, the eye itself is the door through which wisdom arises. The key point is to look with the three ways of looking. Thus it says. Second, explaining the manner of truly subduing the way of looking, the key point of seeing wisdom directly with the eye of the Dharmakaya, the nature of reality; and the eye of the Sambhogakaya wisdom with the pure lands.
