Wisdom arises from the inseparable union, and appearance is subsumed under the power of awareness, hence the perfection of the mother transcends the ten virtues of the world. All the doors of action and method are perfected, as it says in the Garland of Jewels: Since the essence of awareness is without object, Giving is perfected without acceptance or rejection. Since self-awareness is stainless and without concept, Morality is unclouded, the very body itself. Since the dharmakaya is free from expression, Endurance is causeless through meditation. Since awareness has never been separated, Effort is unchangeable. Since it is primordially aware and beyond thought, Meditation is the self-perfected quality. Since the continuum has no beginning, Awareness itself is primordially clear. Since awareness is unconquerable, The dharmakaya is self-perfected, endowed with power. Since it is primordially spontaneously accomplished, Aspiration is self-perfected without cultivation. Since the wisdom of emptiness abides in itself, Wisdom itself is clear without grasping. Since the wisdom of awareness is empowered, Mind itself is empty, endowed with skillful means. Thus, the ten perfections are spontaneously accomplished as the basis, and one rests in equipoise with certainty of completion. This is from the mind-experience of Vajrasattva in the Mandingma Heart Essence. Second, perfection on the path, pure samadhi and miraculous powers: mainly repeating in equipoise, and the way to begin in the union of equipoise and post-equipoise. First: The yogi values the essence of the thought of unwavering equipoise: Giving is without attachment to any support or object; morality is freedom from afflictions, concepts, karma, and so on; patience is unmoving in the face of objects, knowing that appearances are unceasing but without conceptual attachment; diligence is abandoning doubt as to whether the meaning of that wisdom is true or not, through the lama's introduction and one's own realization; meditation without interruption is the manifestation of the wisdom of insight, the meaning uninterrupted by concepts, the body of the self-arisen lamp; skillful means is the spontaneous growth of object and mind; aspiration is without desire, pacified without blocking for the sake of stable samadhi, though it does not remain before the mind; wisdom is without the object of thinking "it is so" and mental discrimination; power is entering the body of the Buddha without reliance, such as thinking "it is not so"; the self-arisen dharmakaya is vast and boundless in the great spontaneous perfection.

Oṃ du! From the perfection of that very potency, the generosity without attachment transcends the realm; the immaculate discipline is utterly pure; the patience without conceptual fixation transcends the realm; diligence arises from the state of abandoning mental scrutiny; meditation without interruption has limitless appearances; manifest appearance is the body, prajñāpāramitā; without object and mind, it abides in the nature of skillful means; the aspiration free from desire is found within oneself; the wisdom pāramitā without object; it abides completely in the power without reliance; with the completion of non-action, it is fully realized on the ground. Thus it is said. Secondly, the essential bindings that initiate the union of equipoise and post-equipoise are: abandoning attachment to samsara; dwelling alone without companions; appearances are decisively self-liberated directly; the great spontaneously arising non-conceptuality is left as it is, thus blending the practice of equipoise and post-equipoise; appearances are left as they are, abiding in the nature of equality; luminous awareness, dharmakāya, the expanse of appearance and emptiness, is primordially equal, vast, and pure; appearances are alternately placed, free from acceptance and rejection; awareness is greatly left as it is; expanding meditation; the appearance of wisdom free from conditions, the great clarity and emptiness, is the essential binding. Thus, from that very source: The ultimate of prajñāpāramitā merges into the luminous awareness dharmakāya; the ultimate of dhyāna pāramitā merges into the lamp of spontaneous abiding; the ultimate of virya pāramitā merges into the meaning of spontaneously arising non-conceptuality; the ultimate of kṣānti pāramitā merges into the decisive liberation of appearances; the ultimate of śīla pāramitā merges into dwelling alone without companions; the ultimate of dāna pāramitā merges into severing attachment to samsara; the ultimate of praṇidhāna pāramitā merges into the absence of alternating appearances; the ultimate of upāya pāramitā merges into the spontaneous abiding of awareness; the ultimate of bala pāramitā merges into the rope binding of illusory appearances; the ultimate of jñāna pāramitā merges into appearances free from conditions. Thus it is said. Thus, those three pāramitās are also in the union of equipoise and post-equipoise, or in the three of ground, path, and fruit, and the three of view, meditation, and conduct, there are various ways of combining them with mastery, but here they are combined according to the former two. Also, one sees the way of combining the single ground with essence, nature, and compassion. From the Great Perfection of Potency: Thus, the meaning of the pāramitās, the nature of all.
