The manifestation is like the sun rising in the sky. Therefore, regarding the appearance of the outer empty, clear, and pure sky; the inner sky of the spontaneously accomplished nature of reality; and the intermediate sky of clear and transparent channels, my father said that it is enough to simply not let the eyes leave the sky, because he did not understand the intent of the tantras and had little learning and contemplation. We illuminate it with the torches of scripture and reason, as it says in the Three Statements Tantra: The outer sky is this empty space; the inner sky is the empty channel connecting the eyes and the heart; the secret sky is the palace of one's own precious citta. Focus awareness on the eyes, and by placing the eyes on the sky, wisdom will naturally arise. And, when one's own awareness is focused on the eyes, and the eyes are focused on the sky, no conceptual thought can obscure it, because non-conceptual awareness arises purely. And so on. In the tantra it says: All dharmas reside in the mind, the mind resides in the sky, and the sky resides in nothing. And, in the Chakrasamvara Unthinkable Tantra it says: From the sky in front, focus the senses and remain still, clear and non-conceptual wisdom will arise immediately. And, Saraha said: Mind, wind, and eyes, when perfectly combined in the sky at the same time, the precious qualities of victory will surely arise. And, abandoning various conceptual thoughts and not thinking, if the eyes are focused on the sky, then one will fully know the meaning of the ten directions, and from this one will obtain all the power of yoga. And, the mind should be held like the sky, and the mind should also be held in the nature of the sky. And, Lha Lama Jangchub Ö said: Appearances are false, the nature of mind is the sky. And, Longchenpa said: In the pure outer sky of objects, the inner sky of the meaning of the nature of reality appears, the secret is the essence of the clear light sky, one should understand that this is the intent of the three sky instructions. Especially here, the way of establishing according to the order of the senses is also different. When gods and humans focus their minds on the sky or meditate, by looking at the sky at the height of one's shoulders, the signs of the outer objects will not steal the mind, and non-conceptuality and shamatha-vipashyana will arise in the continuum.

E! Furthermore, from the perspective of seeing the aspect of self-awareness, it is about enthroning the king. In "Dispelling Elaborations, Meaning Clarified," it says: This is more difficult than the previous two because there are more signs. The eyes should look at the ground, the neck should be slightly bent, and the chin should almost touch the chest. This is the method of enthroning the king and laying the seat. This makes awareness like a king, occupying its own place. Thus it is said. The latter two arise from their own place, so they are not explained here. These can enthrone the king. Second, imprisoning the minister: Unlike others who rely on meditation with focused attention, it is about the arising of a training method that does not depend on the mind but expands wisdom, thereby binding the winds of thought and imprisoning them, which is for the superior person; binding according to circumstances is for the intermediate person; binding with twenty-one skillful means of holding the mind is for the inferior person. For example, if the cherished minister is imprisoned, the king must also listen to the enemy's words, just as wisdom abides in its own place, which is an unchanging training method. In "All Clear," it says: The minister is the mind, and because wisdom and ability have not dissipated in the wind, it does not continue with thoughts, but is clear without thought. For example, when the minister is imprisoned, it is as if there is no one to advise and act. Since the body is not separated and there is breath, awareness has a horse, like a minister. It is like being imprisoned, having the cause of thought but not being able to move. Thus it is said. By this method, closing the door of the winds of the channels becomes a great help. Third, subduing the subjects: In this way, when the minister is imprisoned and the king sits on the throne, even if the appearance of the five sense doors (eye, ear, nose, tongue, body) does not cease, it is excellent to abide in a clear and non-conceptual state; the intermediate person practices Tögal (direct crossing); the inferior person also, in the self-nature of Samadhi, constantly cuts off the subsequent habitual tendencies, so they are often cut off. In "That Very One," it says: The five sense doors are like the subjects, they are the ones who act. At that time, it is clear and without thought. This is like subduing the subjects. Thus it is said. These also come from the Tantra of "Definite Understanding of the Quintessential Secret Bindu": Showing the meaning of seeing without seeing, relaxing the activities of body, speech, and mind without exertion, the king should be enthroned, the minister should be imprisoned, and the subjects should be subdued. Thus it says. And in "Meaning Clarified": The king is enthroned, and the minister should be imprisoned.
