It cannot fully represent the great meaning, because the true ultimate truth lies in the wisdom of clear light, and not just in being in a state of non-thought. Among them, the meditation of self-nature force refers to the spontaneous arising of non-thought, and the natural abiding of body and speech; and the meditation of continuous focus, which is to cultivate antidotes to afflictions without inherent nature, these two are only suppressing afflictions. These also exist in ordinary people and qualified meditation. The meditation of abiding on the earth is only the essence of the earth, which is the samadhi that purifies the obscurations of one's own earth. These are also from the "Union of Sun and Moon Sutra." The meditation of the Great Vehicle is: with the meditation of self-nature force, the unadorned body and mind naturally abide; with the meditation of continuous focus, suppress the sudden arising afflictions; with the meditation of abiding on the earth, nourish the life of each individual. Please listen again to this inconceivable place! Thus it is said. In the "Tantra Showing the Light of Wisdom," it is said: The five senses are clear and without attachment, abide in this state. From then on, stability arises, and the essence of all objects is like a vague illusion. Just abiding in this state is the boundless yoga. Thus it is said. If we summarize the meaning, in the "Self-Arisen Wisdom" it is said: The meditation of the Bodhisattva, although the mind is not attached, arises naturally or forcefully. Habit becomes natural, and the attachment to food is abandoned. Those who abide on the earth practice, and thoughts naturally disappear. Even so, it cannot fully represent the great meaning. Thus it is said. Incidentally, cutting off attachment to food is essence extraction, and clothing is tummo. Habit is cut off through dreams and clear light, so it is not separated separately. Practice is mind-abiding, and the meditation of the Bodhisattva is for those with low capacity to practice, and the practice shown for those with medium capacity who do not practice continuous samadhi. For these two, ultimately, the union of shamatha and vipassana is to be achieved, and through gradual progression, it is to be made a true ladder, so as to enter into true yoga. As the "Self-Arisen Wisdom" says: The methods of practice and what is to be practiced have been declared. Starting with this, the recognition of other minds, places, meditation, and the three intentions are slightly different, and including the way of learning, it becomes the summary of all above and below practice and non-practice.

And, regarding the intention of the Tathāgata, although the superior faculties differ slightly from the inferior and intermediate ones in terms of the corresponding reasoning, the extent of elaboration, and the methods of seeing and training, merely practicing will not become a fault. Therefore, the common and individual aspects of these training methods, as well as the content to be trained and the degree of training, will be explained in a connected and combined manner. In general, there are three types of training methods: outer, inner, and secret. From the outer perspective, it involves abandoning the nine activities of body, speech, and mind, and abiding in a state of non-action. From the inner perspective, it involves closing the doors of the winds of the channels, achieving the three immovable key points, and placing the clear essence of tears in the bindu (Tibetan: ཐིག་ལེ, Sanskrit Devanagari: बिन्दु, Sanskrit Romanization: bindu, literal meaning: point) of the outer space, abiding without blinking in the state of emptiness of space, which is called "placing the ocean of meditation methods." The key to achieving the latter three training methods through such placement lies in two approaches: concise and extensive. First, in the initial formation of the body, the lamp of the navel chakra's knot of channels and the fine channels of the lamp forming the two roots intertwine and connect to the heart; it penetrates through the spine into the eyeball, and when the network of channels, citta (Tibetan: ཙིཏྟ, Sanskrit Devanagari: चित्त, Sanskrit Romanization: citta, literal meaning: mind), blazes, the three bodies are stacked threefold; in the bone chamber, the radiant body and so on reside, and the inner radiance is clear in the signs, if combined with Tögal (Tibetan: ཐོད་རྒལ, Sanskrit Devanagari: उत्क्रान्ति, Sanskrit Romanization: utkrānti, literal meaning: transcendence), it is the Dharmadhatu and bindu; merely through Trekchö (Tibetan: ཁྲེགས་ཆོད, Sanskrit Devanagari: क्षणिकच्छेद, Sanskrit Romanization: kṣaṇikaccheda, literal meaning: immediate cutting through), one can experience the state of threefold pure and undifferentiated space; through this practice, the thoughts of the minister-like mind are forcibly stopped, and the radiance of the king-like great wisdom truly increases; the thought-wind dissolves into the mother-wind, and the primordial wind swirls in the Dharmadhatu; the functions of the five senses cease, and thus the latter three training methods arise in the continuum. In "Künsal" (Tibetan: ཀུན་གསལ) it says: If the meaning that can be practiced is shown, the training method, the content to be trained, and the degree of training can be summarized into three to show: outer, inner, and secret. The outer is to relax the three of body, speech, and mind, and to abide by abandoning all actions. The inner is to close the doors of the winds of the channels, from the self-arisen Dharmadhatu bindu, first the world of the body is formed, from which two channels are formed upward and downward, the two channels converge to form the knot of channels in the navel chakra, then the fine channels nourish the body, then the internal organs such as the heart grow, in which there is breath, from which conceptual thoughts arise, therefore the sign of the channels is the eye, whatever appears is self-appearance, do not engage in conceptual thoughts, look at it in this way, do not move the signs.
