Hoping to practice through meditation, as it says therein: If you do not understand the self-arisen abiding place, who will cling to actions and efforts? It's like the attachment of a painter. These are also stated in the Meaning Clarification: Because behavior is reckless and goes astray, seven demons arise in those behaviors. As stated in the Detailed Arrangement: In the continuous yoga of conduct, there are three ways to go astray: Like this, for all appearances, if you act like a madman, you will go astray into the Asuras; if you use meaningless words, you will go astray into the view of the perishable collection; for all the appearances of the six aggregates, if you act like a child, you will go astray into the unpredicted state. Also, because there is grasping and clinging to external objects, failing to grasp the essence of the view leads to straying, as stated in the Wisdom Space Equality: Because the memory of the view is not grasped, the mind's behavior is unprotected, with the grasping and clinging of self-grasping, one falls into the birthplace of darkness in the future. Fourth, in the continuous fruition, not meeting the self-abiding fruition, believing that the Dharmakaya of cause and condition will newly arise, therefore deliberately fabricating with conceptual thought to meditate on emptiness, thereby leading emptiness astray; and seeking the essence, nature, and compassionate nature of the three bodies from outside oneself, this is also the thorn of seeking other meanings, and it is also a straying in the Great Perfection to view cause and effect as spontaneously accomplished. Because of not recognizing that the fruition exists within oneself, there is the obscuration of clinging to permanence and reality, thereby from spontaneous accomplishment, and from the side of original purity, generating delusion, thereby creating delusions such as nihilistic heretics. As stated in the Precious Abandonment: If you do not understand the three bodies as primordially complete, and seek definitive words elsewhere, it's like not finding the elephant but searching for its footprints. Also, as stated in the Source of All Qualities: The view of eternalist heretics is: based on the unchanging essence, deluding into things with color and shape; the distinction of nihilistic heretics is: based on the cessation of no color and shape, deluding into no cause and effect before and after. Just like that, as stated in the Wisdom Space Equality: The view of eternalist heretics, and the Great Perfection Dharmakaya unchanging two, are similar and mistaken, thereby going astray; the view of nihilistic heretics, and the Dharmakaya space-wisdom inseparable two, are similar and mistaken, thereby going astray. Also, as stated in the Definitive Meaning Gathering: This truly pure Dharmakaya, exists within oneself, do not seek it elsewhere. Yeshe

Furthermore, in the tantra of the Great Guru, it is said: "Son of lineage, the very essence of Bodhicitta manifests as Bodhi; it is the wisdom of certainty, without reliance on other fruits." Also, in the tantra of 'Subduing the War of the Asuras,' it says: "The fruit is the unobstructed wisdom, but it declines due to the obstacles of time. Because the foundation is not raised on the path, the fruit is lost to conditions. For those who rely on time, the fruit is not obscured, but obscured by time; it is impossible to attain by relying on time. The fruit is lost at the base, names are lost in words, jewels are lost in texts, appearances are lost in experience; these are all fruits lost in the realm of mental appearances. Planting the fruit in a later time is deviating from the true meaning; dualistic self-liberation is an obstacle. Without finding confidence in primordial liberation and the perfection of the ground, therefore, the three—key points, suppression of wrong views, and elimination of obstacles—if these three are not present, the fruit will be ruined." Thus it is said. View, meditation, conduct, and result, along with the base, path, and fruit, all are subsumed into the single taste of Bodhicitta. Without directly recognizing the great spontaneously accomplished fruit, if one takes view as the foundation, meditation as the path, and conduct as seeking companions, expecting the original three bodies and their activities to arise like fruit from a seed, this is called clinging to the trap of nominal terms, which is a deviation. As it is said in the 'Heap of Jewels Sutra': "Without knowing the single taste of all dharmas, clinging to nominal terms as true is like carrying a burden that the body cannot bear." Thus it is said. This is slightly different from the previous explanation, so two versions have appeared. But this also has profound meaning and is worth accepting. Second, summarizing its meaning and explaining: In short, if we summarize the deviations, obscurations, and errors mentioned above, it is that the wisdom of the essence, the luminous nature of mind, as a lineage that can grow, is inherently present, determined by the four secrets. All deviations are contained in the non-realization of this. The key point or the fundamental basis of view, meditation, conduct, and result being inseparable is that very nature. In the 'All-Good Heart Fire' it says: "View, meditation, and conduct are inseparable as one, but you deviate by seeing view, meditation, and conduct as three." Thus it is said. Also, in the 'Perfection of Skill' it says: "The very abandonment of secret mantra awareness is the demonic knot of view, meditation, and conduct." Thus it is said. Also, in the 'Meaning Clear' it says: "View is the realization of excellence, inseparable from its state; view, meditation, and conduct are simultaneous."
