Among the teachings on the conduct of non-attachment and non-grasping, the first two are included within the scope of this conduct. This conduct itself is threefold, distinguished by the initial practitioner, the intermediate habituation, and the supreme. The three are post-meditation, and the practice is equipoise. Such conduct, both with and without, is in the manner of assistance and reality. As in the union of the sun and moon, there are three, and in All-Illuminating and others, it is explained as conduct with and without. The reality is: In Awareness Self-Arising, "The conduct of not clinging to attachment, saying 'this,' is the conduct of a great one, endowed with the intellect of a yogi." Realizing the true meaning, abiding in non-attachment, if one does not cling to or grasp at that appearance, then realizing the essence of meaning is great conduct. The object of grasping, the object without an owner, is freed from the extremes of existence and non-existence to which the mind clings. Without an object of focus, saying 'this,' exhausting the thoughts of eating and relying, one is freed from the law. Cutting through delusion, carrying ignorance onto the path of one's own face, without a place to abide, one is freed from conceptual mind. This is the actual basis of the conduct of the Great Perfection. Therefore, in that itself, "The conduct of not clinging to attachment is the conduct of Ati Dzogchen." Although it is taught and identified as such, here in the root text, "The conduct of the Bodhisattvas in general is assistance." Although in this day and age, there are many who speak of the Dharma of the Great Perfection, few become individuals of the Great Perfection. Therefore, emphasizing the conduct in post-meditation is in accordance with the times. Skillful in means to avoid confusing the Dharma and the individual, and here, I have placed the vow of liberation on the conduct, mainly holding the conduct of self-established Dzogchen and the equipoise of the Bodhisattvas in general. On that path, in accordance with the times, placing the other two is not contradictory, but highly related and endowed with great meaning. In the Tantra of Averting the War of the Asuras, "The teaching of the supreme conduct is the conduct of the Great Perfection. As a means, self-arising is liberated as such. Wisdom self-arising, conduct is liberated. As a means, self-born is perfected in oneself. Wisdom self-born, self-arising is perfected in oneself. Since means and wisdom are inseparable, one perfected in the other is the supreme of conduct. Means and wisdom united, and means and wisdom self-liberated are two. Only the name is similar, but it is superior in meaning. It is taught as the conduct of the noble ones."
