And also in "Sun and Moon Union" it says: "Alas, listen, Great Hero! These words that I have taught, Exist in the continuum of all sentient beings, the collection of afflictions. They are bound to samsara, Obscuring great bliss. Therefore, these are not to be abandoned. If one does not realize it as it is, Like ignorance and wisdom born together with the body and shadow of a yogi. From that, it transforms itself, Abandoning is not abandoning. Likewise, if that basis is purified, just as white cannot be removed from crystal, the purifier and the purified are not different entities. Just as the color of turquoise does not change, transformation cannot change the mind of mind. If one does not realize the unchanging essence, Like a crystal rock or a turquoise stone, It cannot be purified and pacified. By nature, it abides as it is, Only a yogi can discern. Likewise, likewise, if one lets it self-pacify, it is not pacification either, because the one who lets go is none other than conceptual thought. Without knowing direct insight, Like Mount Meru, the king of mountains, No one can destroy it. It is not liberated by antidotes, just as wanting to clarify water, stirring it with a stick, abandoning and antidotes are the same. Without knowing self-purification without searching, Like wanting to clarify muddy water, Outward clarification is not possible. That itself is not the nature of reality. Without knowing self-appearance as it is, Like the appearance of ordinary fools, one cannot transcend samsara. It is not the cessation of clinging to reality." Thus it is said. Therefore, regarding the key to liberation in one's own place, from the two wisdom stages: With the path of effortless self-liberation, Tögal: The three key points, the expanse of the Dharmata wheel and the manifestation of the wisdom of thigle, break through in direct perception, With the manifestation of pure vision in the environment, from impure appearances, along with afflictions, self-liberation, and, With effortless Trekchö, whatever thoughts arise cannot be established, and self-liberation is the nature of reality, There is no need to liberate by other means, but self-liberation by the power of nature, For example, like using poison to neutralize poison, etc., The afflictions themselves are liberated by themselves, so it is called self-liberation. That is also said in "Sun and Moon Union": "Alas, listen also, Great Hero! These are two wisdom stages, Effortful and effortless." Thus it is said. Moreover, here it is because it is the time to explain Trekchö

The tradition of effortless self-liberation is as follows: From that very nature, effortless ones are like this: because they have no antidote of their own, they are self-liberated themselves. The self-arisen ignorance itself is self-liberated in the place of ignorance. Just as iron is its own antidote, the iron itself cuts off the wings, and just as stone shatters stones, one's own antidote is oneself. The realization of the Great Perfection of self-nature is great. Whatever one becomes accustomed to in this way, without seeking, by resting, the meanings are found as self-appearing. Without meditating, the bliss of self-nature increases. In self-nature itself, the wisdom of the expanse is directly realized. Whoever encounters this, even if they are stained with sins, will not be obscured by the karmic imprints of the past without interval. By taking it up in conventional truth, liberation through familiarizing oneself with this is without any doubt. The means of arising from habit are naturally Naraka Secondly, to extensively explain the intention of the Great Self-Liberation, there are three points: the view, the practice of meaning, the Great Liberation from Extremes, the key point of being free from dependence; meditation, the practice of meaning, the Great Self-Liberation, because there is no antidote, so it does not rely entirely on the guru's oral instructions; conduct, the practice of meaning, relying on the key point of Naked Liberation, the Great Vanishing Vision, showing that it does not rely entirely on the tantras, agamas, and oral instructions. The first point is: By eliminating all extremes of elaboration, one eliminates the other, so there is no dependence on anything. One and different, two not two and four, existence and non-existence, appearance and non-appearance, the four extremes of two not two cease, or do not abide in anything, therefore it is called liberation from extremes. Furthermore, sentient beings, awareness, emptiness, similar and dissimilar types, two not two, etc., liberation from extremes that reverses all extremes, or the view of being free from extremes, not focusing on the middle way, is what it is called. That also, the reality of all phenomena encompassed by the ground, appearance, existence, and samsara, is the way of abiding of self-arisen wisdom. Therefore, whatever of samsara and nirvana arises as a play from that, even if it appears in the manner of any extreme or elaboration, from that very moment, it is liberation from extremes, and there is no movement away from the nature of reality that is beyond thought and expression. In accordance with that, the mind of a yogi does not engage in calculations of what is this and what is not this, and does not form dependencies on anything, but abides in equanimity. Without conceptualizing external objects, internal mind, and the meaning of the unborn in between, the clear and transparent awareness is directly recognized and placed in that state, so that neither objects, consciousness, appearance, nor emptiness are in front of the mind.
