Sungso! The practice of non-doing Samadhi. Secondly, the practice of non-doing Samadhi: The ground, the great primordial liberation, has no need for re-establishment; practice without relying on view and meditation; the path, the great self-liberation, has no antidote; the result, the one great liberation, has no companion, the practice of cultivating confidence without relying on means and wisdom, there are three types. The first: the Dharmata meaning, the practice of self-aware wisdom, two types. The first: the way of abiding in it, and the way of practicing without straying from it. The first is: all phenomena encompassed by appearance and existence, samsara and nirvana, are empty and selfless from the beginning; liberated from the phenomena of substantial elaboration. That is, the cause of arising and arising in the beginning, the place of abiding and abiding in the middle, and the final cessation, are empty in their own nature. Sentient beings are confused and become dependent on others, for example, like the water of a mirage, there is no basis for appearance and non-appearance, but it appears and thinks like that, therefore, there is no basis for liberation by disturbing it with view, meditation, and diligence, etc. For all appearances and awareness, it is only a matter of reversing the mind that grasps existence as non-existent, other than that, there is no need to liberate things from their own place. Therefore, it is said in the Garland of Pearls: "It is not liberated by effort, but abides in liberation from the very beginning." And, in Meaningful Diligence: "The nature of mind that is liberated from the beginning, how can there be an external cause of liberation?" And, in Sun and Moon Blazing Light: "In whatever appearance appears, there is no name to be given, the bindu is universally transparent. Without pure and impure, liberated in great ignorance. The three realms are without suffering, liberated like this. Buddhas, sentient beings, the six realms have nowhere to abide, liberated without conceptual names. Dharma exhausted, mind lost, expression and thought are transcended, liberated. Nothing at all, yet appearing, liberated in the great nameless." And, in The Lamp Stack: "Primordial liberation transcends all dharmas, and abides in the nature of boundlessness." Secondly, the way of practicing without straying from it is: Therefore, yogis do not regard all phenomena of appearance and mind, which have the nature of great unpolluted wisdom, as truly existing in their own and general characteristics, but know the self-power of self-aware wisdom as the self-nature of empty appearance, thereby purifying it into spontaneous liberation, without distinction.
