Therefore, whatever appears is self-appearance, do not engage in conceptual thoughts. Look! If the pulse does not move, then the root of awareness will not change. Like pulse not accompanied by wind and hail, if not restrained, let it be free, it will not scatter. Therefore, cherish the wind, do not look for its faults. If the wind is present, the wisdom of realization will fully expand. Having grasped it with skillful means, non-thought abides in its own place. And, in the Tantra of Three Words, it says: The secret lord practicing the Dharmakaya is the intention of the three shakings of the sky. Etc. As a method of practice, from that, focusing one's own awareness on the eyes, placing the eyes in the space between, by abiding in this way, wisdom arises spontaneously. Regarding this, the view of thorough penetration, awareness unpolluted by afflictions and conceptual thoughts, abiding in the reality of the Dharmakaya, the present knowing is clear and uninterrupted, sale hrig ge! Naked! Unpolluted by any conceptual thoughts, the awareness of non-thought appears uninterruptedly, knowing is comfortable, awareness is clear, memory is uninterrupted, not entering into the duality of subject and object, reality is uncorrected, practicing on that, wisdom will arise spontaneously. Thus it is said. Second, the extensive method of practice, the three secret similes are: Placing the king on the throne, that is, the wisdom of self-awareness, is the king who controls samsara and nirvana. The outer pure realm of the Dharmadhatu bindu appears as an object, on the throne that opens up space, from the clear tube of the root king Kati, placing the symbol of the king on it, the three tones are inseparable, integrated into the vast expanse of essential nature. As it is said, in "Bindu All-Illuminating" it also says: The king is the self-aware Dharmakaya. The throne is the naturally pure, this appearing as the realm of space. Placing is the union of the nature of water, pure and clear. And, in "Meaning Clear" it says: The appearance of wisdom seated on that throne is: the bindu of great wisdom. It is spontaneously accomplished, therefore it destroys signs and conceptual thoughts. Thus it abides unchanging, there is no other appearance than self-appearance. And: The naturally pure sky that is seen is: the self-radiance of the purity of Dharmata. Awareness dawning as an object is: the radiant light of pure wisdom. The water lamp illuminates the king, is the wisdom radiance of the purity of Dharmata. Alas! The self-radiance of the pure sky is: like the night sky.

The primordial sound of the purity of dharmata is like the dawn sky. The radiance of great wisdom is like the sun rising in the sky. Thus it is said. Therefore, regarding the appearance of the union of the outer empty, clear, and pure sky, the inner spontaneously accomplished dharmata sky, and the intermediate clear and transparent channel-tube sky, my father said that it is enough just not to let the eyes leave the sky. Because he did not understand the intent of the tantra and had little learning and contemplation, we whipped him with the blazing torch of scripture and reasoning. In the Three Statements Tantra, it says: The outer sky is this empty space. The inner sky is this empty channel-tube connecting the eyes and the heart. The secret sky is the palace of one's own precious citta. Place awareness on the eyes, and place the eyes on space, and wisdom will spontaneously arise. And: When one's own awareness is placed on the eyes, and the eyes are placed on space, then because no conceptual thought obscures it, pure non-conceptual awareness arises. And so on. The tantra says: All dharmas abide in the mind. The mind abides in the sky. The sky abides in nothing at all. And: In the Hevajra Unthinkable Tantra: In that very sky in front, fix the senses and remain still. Clear, non-conceptual wisdom will arise right now. And Saraha said: If mind, prana, and eyes are perfectly joined together in space at the same time, then the precious qualities of the Victorious Ones will surely arise. And: Abandoning various conceptual thoughts and not thinking, if the eyes are placed in the sky, then one will know all the meanings of the ten directions. One will obtain all the powers of yoga from this. And: The mind should be held to be like the sky. The mind should also be held in the nature of the sky. And Lha Lama Jangchub Ö said: Appearances are false. The nature of mind is the sky. And Longchenpa said: In the pure outer sky of objects, the inner dharmata, the sky of meaning, arises. The secret is the essence of the clear light sky. One should understand the intent of the threefold sky. In particular, even in this, the way of establishing it differs according to the order of the senses. For gods and humans who have mind-holding or meditation, one should look at the sky the distance of a yoke from the eyes. The outer realm
