Appearing as the Nirmanakaya, the separate Bodhi of the eight consciousnesses, the Dharmadhatu is established as Vajra without change, which is also the manifestation of self-arisen wisdom. Thus, Samsara is mind, and Nirvana is the pure manifestation of awareness. One should determine that Samsara is the manifestation of non-existence. Others, abiding is the Dharmakaya, transformation is the Sambhogakaya, and awareness is established as the Nirmanakaya, which is also partly yes and partly no, and can be established as a part, but it is established in the manifestation of the path. Third, the determination that the three Kayas of the fruit are liberated into self-arisen wisdom is as follows: Thus, the nature of the three Kayas that abide as the basis, now at the time of the path, is determined by seeing, and practiced by meditation, and becomes manifest without letting go or abiding. From this, the complete accomplishment of the three Kayas, five wisdoms, and activities of the supreme Bodhi is said to be liberation, but in reality, it is the nature of the original blissful Gone One, in the nature of both appearance and emptiness, with the power of wisdom that manifests without inversion, becoming a body that is matured in the manner of the six special qualities, and therefore swirls in the Dharmadhatu of wisdom. Because it is not obtained and matured from another place by the path, therefore, in the Mirror of the Heart of Vajrasattva, it is said: 'Alas! Friends! The fruit of the truly complete Buddha does not have maturity or immaturity.' Therefore, the fruit is not obtained by meditation, but is a pith instruction.' Thus, it is determined that the three Kayas of the fruit abide in oneself. Gyaltsab Rinpoche said: 'The complete Buddha steals, therefore,' should also be known, 'The first Buddha has no cause,' thus showing the fruit that is not born from a cause. In Dzogchen it is said: 'Thus, the five Kayas abide in the self-continuum of all sentient beings, so remember its meaning.' To this, some say: 'If the Tathagatagarbha, etc., are constantly determined and abide in the continuum, then it is no different from the view of self.' It also seems to be thought that it pervades emptiness. If the impermanent Buddha Dharmakaya or Sambhogakaya is a conditioned, changing pain, and has not abandoned the pain that pervades it, then it is said in the final Sutra that this is a very great wrong view, and it is also established by valid cognition that the conditioned, impermanent omniscient is not pain. Such a statement also does not have certainty about the seals of the Sutras, etc.

Since pointing out flaws in one's own words carries the risk of causing harm, it is imperative to be cautious. Furthermore, if emptiness, the Dharmakaya, does not pervade the appearances of samsara, and does not pervade the adornments of pure Great Perfection, then the so-called Dharmakaya, free from elaboration, becomes merely a sound and idea devoid of substance. The language of union (yuganaddha) does not reside within the realm of emptiness, nor does it exist on the edge of a peculiar mountain corner. If one merely says that non-existence is just non-existence, then there is no analogy, such as proximity, for what is suitable for emptiness, and for what is suitable for all phenomena. Moreover, the causes and conditions of conditioned phenomena are not like barley not producing fruit; they do not produce non-existence. Therefore, from the cause of samsara, the fruit of nirvana will not arise. Know that from the precipice of negation, the fruit of the Buddha's three bodies will not arise. If it did arise, it would transform into unconditioned emptiness. Why, then, would it not transform into conditioned samsara and nirvana? If existence arises from non-existence, then at the farthest reaches, nine impossible things without cause and condition would arise unimpeded, and countless harms would effortlessly be established. This arises from intellect, and causeless negation would become meaningless. In this way, considering the resultant Sambhogakaya and Dharmakaya of the Buddha to be impermanent is not the view of a Mahayanist. The ripening fruit pervaded by impermanence, etc., which is born from the causes and conditions of conditioned phenomena, is certainly determined in this way. The statement 'Unconditioned and spontaneously accomplished' becomes an explanation of that intention. Third (Fourth Examination): Determining the purity of seeing the experiences of the three kayas as self-arisen wisdom: Those who are diligent and liberated through the path of Tögal attain the three kayas in reverse order, and those who are lazy and liberated on the basis of Trekchö manifest the three kayas in forward order. These appearances and experiences are seen as the direct realization of Samantabhadra. From the stages, the inner manifestations of the three kayas in reverse order on the path of self-appearing wisdom are determined as experiences between the exhaustion of the four visions. The experiences of awareness, the experiences of bliss-clarity-non-thought, the ten signs of purification of the four elements' winds, and the various stages of demanding payment, like debts rising when the four maras transfer their abodes, are all stages of obstructing the causes and effects of ignorance, and are the self-empowerment of self-awareness.
