Those inner ones, because they accord with the profound experience of pure equality, even those who enjoy the five meats and five nectars, etc., abide in the ultimate meaning of reality, and the edge of engaging in effort, with slight errors, therefore, not exceeding the great expanse of effortless self-abiding, this is the most supreme. In the Great Tantra of Uprooting Samsara, it says: 'Although effort is the Dharma of suffering, one should not abide in the Dharma.' Possessing the body of great bliss, if one abides without effort, it is the Vajra body. Possessing the immutable body, if there is no seeking, it is the Wisdom body. Possessing the body of manifold purity, if one abides without restraint, it is the Self-born body. Thus it is said. The nature of Dharma transcends effort, therefore it is essential. The mandala symbolizes the three outer, inner, and secret aspects, namely vows, samadhi, and the three self-accomplished mandalas. This is the latter, that is, the complete mandala of the three bodies of Dharma, Enjoyment, and Emanation. As it is said in 'Stacked Mountains': 'This primordial, all-appearing wisdom, is self-born, not made by anyone. It is the root from which all things arise; because it arises from itself, the mandala is complete.' And as it is said in 'Self-Arisen': 'The mandala of all Buddhas is the great primordial purity mandala.' And as it is said in 'Bindu Kunsel': 'The self-accomplished mandala is the mandala of the Victorious Ones of the three bodies. Awareness in the center is the wheel of wisdom; it is the definitive word of the essence of the Dharmakaya.' Thus, therefore, all mandalas are the essence, power, and play of the Dharmakaya's wisdom, without obstruction or contraction, and are decisively settled, abiding without moving from their natural state. In the base mandala, the wheel of body, speech, and mind; in the path mandala, without meditating on the immovable equipoise, without distraction, the purification of all winds and minds is the spontaneously accomplished great perfection of the fruit mandala. The supreme Dharma is the difference between similarity and the actual path, therefore, one should not hope to obtain a wish-fulfilling jewel and pray to what one already possesses, and meditation is not the same. Empowerment, in terms of types, there are many, such as four, but if summarized, the way of self-nature being complete in the base is that the self-born awareness governs all of samsara and nirvana, and the power of the path yogi, having experienced it through practice, reaches its limit, and thus manifests, this is the actual power. Furthermore, there is the gradual descent through mind transmission and ear transmission, and the actual objects of empowerment, etc., as spoken of in the tantras.

In the "All-Illuminating Bindu," it is said: The definition of empowerment is that it possesses mastery and dominion over all phenomena of samsara and nirvana. Furthermore, it is taught that there are three aspects of empowerment: showing the way of completion in the ground, showing the way of descent in stages, and showing the empowerment through actual objects. Also, from the "Garland": Because the power of awareness dwells in the ground, there is no need for substances; the empowerment is complete. Thus, it is not obtained from other than oneself, but is self-arisen compassion, the five heroic ones of the great primordial state, the complete determination of all rivers. As it is said in the "Essence of Sun and Moon": Without the empowerment of effort and desire, in the vast expanse of the essence, the mandala of dharmata, the great primordial, all-encompassing, supreme deity, pure from the beginning, dwells. Without bestowing empowerments of vase and other substances, the supreme empowerment of self-mastery and self-attainment, obtaining accomplishment without substance is most wondrous. Having realized the meaning of the initial Soma essence, without the empowerment of desire, one obtains the dharmakaya. Thus it is. Regarding the difference between having and not having vows to protect, the main point is to show the equality of non-protection, which is the king of vows. Transcending the protection and non-protection of the artificial vows of the eight vehicles, it is non-existent. Above the three doors, without transformation or dwelling, it is the openness of complete freedom. The self-awareness, the single, great, non-conceptual seal, untouched by anything, is the single, primordially protected vow. Abiding in the non-doing, non-protecting, primordial liberation, it is spontaneously accomplished. For those who protect and strive for the vows of others, here, one proceeds with the confidence of primordial, spontaneously accomplished, unchanging nature, thus being completely purified in upward liberation. From that very text: The number of artificial vows of the eight vehicles, because they are not protected, are called non-existent. Because one's own three doors are vast, it is named openness. For the vow that cannot be protected, the method of protection that cannot be transgressed is that self-awareness and wisdom are one, therefore it is shown as one. Because it is primordially protected without effort, it is named spontaneously accomplished. Thus it is. In practice, there are two types: common and supreme. Here, both are accomplished in the manner of essence and self-power. The method of practice is the four branches of approach and accomplishment: the lama introduces it, and then the self-awareness of wisdom is established and experienced, which is the approach; dwelling in the practice of the path is the near approach; gaining confidence in that path and attaining the measure of self-liberation is the accomplishment; the path and fruit are perfected, and obscurations are
