"Without color," etc., and the previous saying, "Not blue, not yellow," etc., are extensively explained. Also, the metaphors of a dog chasing a stone and a lion not killing the thrower should be regarded as the minds of those with unreal views being driven by non-Buddhist demons. Moreover, this is definitely the demon that cuts off the life force of liberation. As stated in the sutra: "For example, a god harms the life force, and does not bestow happiness. Likewise, the one who sees and inwardly views the self destroys the life force of the Dharma." Shantideva also said, "The body and fingernails are not self," etc. Furthermore, the twenty high peaks of the mountain of the view of the aggregates being destroyed by the wisdom vajra also implies that it has been reduced to ashes, so this is undoubtedly a non-Buddhist. Having thus ascertained, examine the appearances of external phenomena, either by dividing them into general and specific categories, or in any way, with the vajra eye. By looking with the eye of wisdom or the mind, whatever appears, one will realize the play of the nature of reality, the great expanse of appearance and emptiness inseparable, which is the true realization, the view of phenomena. Furthermore, by looking inward at the mind and ascertaining it, one sees emptiness free from elaboration and realizes the unborn, boundless state, which is realization. This view is called the view of reality. From here on, recognizing oneself, the wisdom of the indivisible sphere of awareness, primordial purity, spontaneous perfection, and union, which transcends thought and intellect, and directly seeing it, one obtains the view with the realization of the great stainless transparency, which is called the view of self-awareness. Here also, because samsara and nirvana are ascertained as mind, it is the view of phenomena; because faults are sought, and the origin and the three realms are investigated, it is the view of reality; because it is recognized as self-awareness in wisdom, it is the introduction of the view of self-awareness. This shows the connection between the upper and lower. Thus, in sequence, in the secret tantra of the Great Self-Arisen, it says: "When phenomena appear as signs, and the power of the eye is not obstructed, the view of the mind is excellent. The clarity of one's own awareness is the magical appearance of the outer. From the nature of non-conceptual clarity, if one knows it as the Great Self-Born, then it is the view of phenomena." It also says: "That reality and phenomena arise from not knowing one. By knowing one, one is liberated. Thus, unborn."

If one understands the meaning, it is considered the view of the view of Dharmata. Thus it is said. When causes and conditions gather, self-awareness is realized. In the nature of non-conceptual clarity, clinging thoughts naturally disappear. Non-clinging self-clarity abides as it is. The Dharma of non-clinging, without coming or going, is the intention of all Buddhas. The great non-conceptual self-clarity is clear in the unmoving sky. The yogi who realizes it in this way is the view of the view of self-awareness. Thus it is said. The third is to recognize wisdom as self-awareness, of which there are two, the first is the necessity: In general, nowadays some who boast of being scholars seek instructions from books, and although they collect some beginnings and endings, they do not see the co-emergent wisdom manifest with just that. Firstly, the lineage of blessings has declined; secondly, the fault of taking secret mantras as proof; thirdly, the fault of measuring Dharmas that are free from names, etc., with conceptual thoughts; fourthly, the punishment of forcibly seizing from the hands of dakini oath-bound protectors; fifthly, the fault of wrongly interpreting the intention because the coiled and hidden meaning cannot be unraveled; sixthly, it is a false instruction, becoming a red "pra ya" of oral transmission; seventhly, it becomes a chaotic mess unrelated to the practice of the lineage's ritual. Thus and so on, countless faults arise. The Guhyagarbha Tantra says: "Without relying on a teacher, without obtaining empowerments, striving in listening, etc., is fruitless and merely destructive." Also, the Sarvarahasya-tantra says: "If the key instructions are unraveled with meaning, then one sees one's own lamp, and the light of wisdom arises, which is the completion of empowerment in one pure aspect." It also says: "Only from the blessings of the realized lama." Thus, as it is said in the Hevajra Tantra: "Not spoken by others, co-emergent, nor does it arise anywhere, but from the teacher's skillful means, it is shown." Also, the Kunjed Gyalpo Tantra says: "In the meaning of the essence, there is no acceptance or rejection, but humans and non-human spirits obstruct, and both of the accomplished dakinis are controlled by untimely death and fear." It also says: "Loving fame and worldly dharmas, arrogant, disrespectful of the holy, narrow-minded, scornful, fearful, and without faith, self-righteous, and desiring forceful practice."
