于彼殊胜之章第八。 如是，如来以神力调伏一切之时，魔王甚为忧伤，说道：唉！摩诃释迦牟尼佛在此摧毁并毁灭我的住所等地，应如何调伏？然而，我对此无能为力，难道要与极其卑劣者相提并论吗？如此，这三界乃是焚毁并毁灭存在的行为，因此要告诫一切，并阻止这些恶行，他如是思索。 之后，三界之中具大威力、权势与光辉者皆聚集，说道：诸位请听我说！若此等世界不由一位国王统治，一切存在都将毁灭。因此，各方眷属皆聚集，请听从我的命令，他如是宣告。 彼时，世间大威力者之众各自展现神通并说道：你是何等傲慢之人？我等每一位皆是护持无量眷属之大国王，统治无数国土，因他人之触碰而变得神圣，你若安住于寂静则善哉，他们一致说道。魔王亦甚为烦恼，对其他人说道： 有神之世间，皆依我令而住。 一切诸有情，皆应听王密令。 三界之主，天中之天。 一切地之，地上之主。 我之威力与神变，无人能与我匹敌。 若有违我令者，将丧失性命与住所。 如是说道。之后，梵天王聚集了无量眷属，于彼等之中，安住于化现为大罗刹形象之忿怒尊，并以自身之神力变幻出忿怒尊与兵器之众。如是，遍入天、大自在天、帝释天、象头神、布陵吉利迪、六面童子等亦各自聚集了无量眷属。

The eighth chapter, on the superior one. Thus, when the Tathagata subdued all through his power, the King of Demons was greatly saddened and said: Alas! This Maha Shakyamuni Buddha is destroying and ruining my abode and so on here, how should he be subdued? However, I have no place to do anything about this. Should I compete with those who have become extremely inferior? Likewise, these three worlds are the actions of burning and destroying existence, so I will admonish everyone and prevent these evil deeds, he thought. Then, those with great power, authority, and splendor in the three realms all gathered and said: Listen to me, all of you! If these realms of the world are not ruled by one king, all existence will be destroyed. Therefore, all directions and retinues have gathered, please listen to my command, he announced. At that time, the assembly of great powerful beings of the world each displayed their miraculous powers and said: What kind of arrogant person are you? Each of us is a great king who protects immeasurable retinues, ruling over countless lands, and has become sacred by the touch of others, it would be good if you remain in peace, they said in unison. The King of Demons was also greatly increased by afflictions and said to the others: This world with gods, All dwell by my command. All beings without exception, Should listen to the king's secret command. The lord of the three realms, the god of gods. The lord of the earth of all lands. Then, in the midst of them, they stood proudly, displaying inconceivable manifestations, demonstrating power and magical abilities. The four great kings residing on the summit of Mount Meru also stood proudly in the midst of their respective retinues, demonstrating strength and magical abilities. The guardians of the directions residing on the golden mountain, such as Dhritarashtra, Ishvara, Yama, Virupaksha, Varuna, Yaksha, Surya, and the earth gods, also resided with their respective abodes, bearing terrifying weapons. The sun, moon, Mars, Mercury, Jupiter, Saturn, and the great planets also resided with their respective retinues, bearing terrifying assemblies of wrathful deities and weapons. Ananta, Padma-dhara, Strength-cause, Lineage-holder, Wealth-increase, Conch-protector, Padma, and the water deities resided with their respective servants, in terrifying manifestations. Similarly, the gathering places of the arrogant beings of the three realms, the Yakshas, Gandharvas, Kumbhandas, and the principal, powerful, and mighty beings of the six realms, as well as the Matrikas, Yama, Asuras, Garudas, Rakshasas, and the constellations, also manifested and resided in the center of their respective retinues' mandalas, with terrifying forms, weapons, and roars. Then, the king of demons also arose with afflictions, gathered his retinue, and displayed all his magical powers at this time, manifesting a fiercely burning and terrifying form from a palace ablaze with various weapons. He sported with assemblies of wrathful mothers. The retinue's assembly, with weapons ablaze with fire, spread in the ten directions, filling the entire sky, giving rise to hail, disease, and sandstorms. This caused all the worldly gods to become intoxicated and bewildered. From all directions, the terrifying assembly, with the weapons of samsara ablaze with fire, killed and cut down, causing their respective assemblies to be terrified, offering their essence and pleading for protection. Then, the demonic hosts who gathered all the gods uttered curses and vows.

Having given the oath, and taken the essence of each, all the retinues separated from the lord. The eight great gods abide on their respective tops. The four great kings abide in the eastern continent. Yakshas and guardians of the directions abide in the two subcontinents of the east. The sentient beings of the six realms are placed in the south.
