Thus, conduct is spoken of through conduct, The conduct of the self-existing Victorious One, Although pervading like water and waves, In the various activities of accepting and rejecting, Conduct is not grasped by skillful means. Why? Because skillful means and wisdom, And various sounds and realizations, That which has not become a common realm, Is the uncommon conduct of skillful means. In some, it becomes common, Liberation and non-liberation, The constant wanderer and the heretic, Women and the base, The king, the hero, the ascetic, Children and so forth, each different. In some, there is laughter and violence, Scolding and fear, and peace, In some, likewise, great desire is shown, Deceitful conduct and lewdness. Peaceful, stealing, and jealous conduct, Desire and enjoyment, tormenting, Singing, dancing, and coquetry, Likewise, fear and threats, The untamed and various harms, The conduct of miraculous realms, And various wondrous miracles. Whatever deeds are done by whom, For the sake of taming all beings, Limitless deeds are shown. In peace, Brahma; in anger, wrath, In liberation, youthful beauty and play, Sorrow, delusion, and suffering, Each with limitless guides, Shows limitless displays of the body. Blessings and self-manifestation, Symbols and intelligence, samadhi, In words, attachment, hatred, delusion, And extreme victory and jealousy, Gentle and slow, pleasant and unpleasant, Harsh and violent, large and small, Long and short, music, gods, nagas, and The sounds of humans and non-humans, beings. Householders, powerful ones, good leaders, and Those with desire, the violent, and so forth, Various limitless displays, Through pure and impure means, Limitless displays of speech appear. In some, love and hatred, Distraction and non-distraction, delusion and intelligence, Gathering and not gathering, forgetting and Liberation and non-liberation, sharp and dull, Ignorance and wisdom, and so forth, Limitless displays of mind, Appear in the manner of omniscience.
