ཅིང་ལུང་བསྟན་པ་ཡང་ཐོབ་པར་འགྱུར་རོ། །དེ་ཡང་ཇི་ལྟར་ཡོངས་སུ་ཤེས་ཞེ་ན། སྔོན་འདས་པའི་དུས་སུ་ང་དྲན་པ་ཐོག་མའི་ཚེ་བྲམ་ཟེའི་བུ་གསལ་སྦྱིན་ཞེས་བྱ་བས་གསང་བ་ཆེན་པོ་འདིའི་བསླབ་པ་མཐར་ཕྱིན་ཏེ། རང་གི་སེམས་གོམས་པར་བྱས་པས་ཐེག་པ་མཐའ་དག་གི་བསླབ་པ་མཐར་ཕྱིན་ཅིང་། དེ་ཉིད་དུ་བར་སྣང་ལས་ལུང་བསྟན་པའི་སྒྲ། རིགས་ཀྱི་བུ་ཁྱོད་དུས་ཕྱི་མའི་ཚེ་ཆོས་ཀྱི་རྒྱལ་པོ་ཆེན་པོར་གྱུར་ནས། ཞིང་ཁམས་རྣམ་པར་དག་པ་ཞེས་བྱ་བར་སངས་རྒྱས་ནས། སྨྲ་བའི་སེང་གེ་ཞེས་བྱ་བར་གྲགས་པར་འགྱུར་རོ་ཞེས་བྱ་བར་ལུང་བསྟན་པ་དེ་བཞིན་དུ་ཤེས་པར་བྱའོ། །ཡང་སྨྲ་བའི་སེང་གེས་གསོལ་པ། ཚོགས་ཆེན་པོ་གཅིག་གི་བསོད་ནམས་ཀྱི་ཁྱད་པར་ཇི་ལྟ་བུ་ལགས། གསང་བ་མཆོག་གི་བདག་པོས་བཀའ་སྩལ་པ། སྨྲ་བའི་སེང་གེ་སོ་སོའི་སྐྱེ་བོའམ། ཉན་ཐོས་སམ། རང་སངས་རྒྱས་སམ། ས་ལ་གནས་པའི་བྱང་ཆུབ་སེམས་དཔའ་སངས་རྒྱས་ཀྱི་ཞིང་ཡོངས་སུ་གང་བ་སྙེད་ལ་སྦྱིན་མཆོད་སངས་རྒྱས་ཀྱི་ཞིང་བྱུར་བུར་གཏམས་པས་བསྐལ་པའམ། བསྐལ་པ་གྲངས་མེད་པར་བྱིན་པའི་བསོད་ནམས་ཀྱིས་ནི་རྣལ་འབྱོར་གཅིག་ལ་ཚོགས་གཅིག་སྐད་ཅིག་ཏུ་མཆོད་པ་རྒྱ་ཆེར་བྱས་པའི་བསོད་ནམས་དང་ཡེ་ཤེས་ ཀྱི་ཚོགས་འབུམ་གྱི་ཆར་ཡང་མི་ཕོད་དོ། །དེ་ཡང་ཇི་ལྟར་ཡོངས་སུ་ཤེས་ཞེ་ན། སྔོན་འདས་པའི་དུས་ནང་དྲན་པ་ཐོག་མའི་ཚེ་ལས་དག་པའི་བྲམ་ཟེའི་བུ་གསལ་ལྡན་ཞེས་བྱ་བ་ཞིག་གསང་བའི་ཐེག་པ་འདི་ལ་དད་པར་འགྱུར་རོ། །བྲམ་ཟེའི་བུ་དགེ་ལྡན་ཞེས་བྱ་བ་ཞིག་ནི་རྒྱུའི་ཐེག་པ་ལ་དད་པར་འགྱུར་རོ། །དེའི་ཚེ་བྲམ་ཟེའི་བུ་དེ་གཉིས་ཐ་ཚིག་བཅས་ཏེ། དགེ་ལྡན་གྱིས་མཆོད་སྦྱིན་བཟང་པོ་རྒྱ་ཆེར་སྤེལ་ལོ། །གསལ་ལྡན་གྱིས་ནི་ཚོགས་མཆོད་རྒྱ་ཆེར་བྱས་སོ། །དེ་གཉིས་ཀྱི་འབྲས་བུའི་ཁྱད་པར་ནི། སྔགས་སྤྱོད་པའི་བྲམ་ཟེ་གསལ་ལྡན་ནི་ཚེ་དེ་ཉིད་ལ་མངོན་པར་རྫོགས་པར་སངས་རྒྱས་པར་གྱུར་ཏོ། །རྒྱུའི་ཐེག་པ་ལ་སྤྱོད་པའི་དགེ་ལྡན་ནི། བསྐལ་པ་གྲངས་མེད་པ་གསུམ་དུ་དཀའ་བ་བྱས་ནས། འབྲས་བུ་ཐོབ་པ་དེ་བཞིན་དུ་ཤེས་པར་བྱའོ། །ཡང་སྨྲ་བའི་སེང་གེས་གསོལ་པ། གསང་བའི་ཐེག་པའི་མདོ་འདི་རྟག་ཏུ་འཆང་བའི་གང་ཟག་དེའི་རྣམ་པར་སྨིན་པ་ཇི་ལྟ་བུར་འགྱུར་བ་ལགས། གསང་བ་མཆོག་གི་བདག་པོས་བཀའ་སྩལ་པ། སྨྲ་བའི་སེང་གེ་མདོ་འདི་རྟག་ཏུ་འཆང་ཞིང་འཛིན་པ་དེ་ནི། དཔལ་རྡོ་རྗེ་སེམས་དཔའི་ཆེ་བའི་ཡོན་ཏན་གྱི་གཟུངས་དང་བཅས་པ་ཐོབ་བོ། །དེ་ཡང་ཇི་ལྟར་ཡོངས་སུ་

And also will receive a prophecy. How is it to be fully understood? In the past, when I first remembered, a Brahmin's son named Ming Shi had completed the teachings of this great secret. Because he had become accustomed to his own mind, he had completed the teachings of all vehicles. At that time, a voice of prophecy came from the sky: "Son of good family, in the future you will become a great Dharma king, and you will become a Buddha in the pure Buddha land called Pure Land, and you will be known as the Lion of Speech." It should be understood in this way. The Lion of Speech then asked: "What is the difference in merit of a great Dharma assembly?" The Lord of Secrets replied: "Lion of Speech, whether it is an ordinary person, a Shravaka, a Pratyekabuddha, or a Bodhisattva who abides on the ground, giving offerings and offerings to the number of Buddha lands filled, with abundant offerings filling the Buddha lands, in kalpas or countless kalpas, the merit is not as good as the merit and wisdom of a yogi who makes vast offerings in a single moment at a Dharma assembly, not even a millionth part. How is it to be fully understood? In the past, when I first remembered, there was a Brahmin's son named Bright who would believe in this secret vehicle. A Brahmin's son named Good Birth will believe in the vehicle of cause. At that time, the two Brahmin's sons made a vow. Good Birth extensively performed good offerings and almsgiving. Bright extensively performed tsog offerings. The difference in the results of these two is: the Brahmin Bright, who practices mantras, will manifest and attain perfect enlightenment in that very life. Good Birth, who practices the vehicle of cause, will practice austerities for countless kalpas before obtaining the result. It should be understood in this way. The Lion of Speech then asked: 'What will be the fully ripened result of the person who constantly holds this secret vehicle sutra?' The Lord of Secrets replied: 'Lion of Speech, the one who constantly holds and upholds this sutra will obtain the dharani that possesses the great qualities of glorious Vajrasattva.' 知晓吧。过去的时劫我最初忆念之时，名为美施的具信施主，以一百眷属恒常受持此秘密乘之经，如吉祥金刚萨埵之眷属般，定能于此生获得，并得不忘陀罗尼。如是知晓。又语狮子请问：通达此秘密经之义后，为他人宣说，其功德如何？祈请授记。秘密主答言：语狮子，通达此秘密经之义后，为具器之有情开示或讲说，则将成为伟大的法王，变得如我一般。又当如何完全知晓呢？过去的时劫我最初忆念之时，名为迦巴亚纳的安住瑜伽之仙人，为众多仙人讲说并开解此秘密之义，众多仙人由此获得持明之位，那位导师仙人即成了秘密主。如是应当完全知晓。因此，大密咒功德之差别是不可思议的。此后，语狮子作者金刚普贤请问：祈请世尊断除一切疑惑之王，若欲请问错用密咒之过患，祈请开许。秘密主答言：世尊，不住于秘密之义，而伪装密咒行持之过患如何？秘密主答言：语狮子，对于甚深秘密之义，若无信解而伪装，以狡诈伪装成真实，则必定堕入恶趣邪道。又当如何完全知晓呢？过去的时劫我最初忆念之时，于名为周遍庄严之劫中，在名为佛陀显现之佛土，名为佛陀显现王之佛陀，于身入灭后，出现一位自诩为善饰之瑜伽士，他因无知，而对无知的眷属伪装成秘密之行，以邪

Know this. In the past, when I first remembered, the faithful householder named Me-sbyin (Beautiful Giving), along with a hundred attendants, constantly held this secret vehicle's sutra. Like the retinue of glorious Vajrasattva, one will certainly attain it in this very life and obtain the dharani of non-forgetting. Know it thus. Then, the Lion of Speech asked: Having understood the meaning of this secret sutra, what is the merit of speaking it to others? Please prophesy. The Lord of Secrets replied: Lion of Speech, having understood the meaning of this secret sutra, if you show or explain it to sentient beings who possess the capacity, you will become a great Dharma king, becoming like myself. And how is it to be fully known? In the past, when I first remembered, a sage named Kapa-yana, abiding in yoga, explained and elucidated this secret meaning to many sages. Many sages thereby attained the stage of vidyadhara. That teacher sage himself became the Lord of Secrets. Thus, it should be fully known. Therefore, the difference in the qualities of the great secret mantra is inconceivable. Thereafter, the Lion of Speech, the maker Vajra Samantabhadra, asked: O Bhagavan, King who cuts off all doubts, if I wish to ask about the faults of misusing secret mantras, please grant permission. The Lord of Secrets replied: O Bhagavan, what are the faults of pretending to practice secret mantras without abiding in the secret meaning? The Lord of Secrets replied: Lion of Speech, if one pretends without faith in the profound secret meaning, and deceitfully pretends to be truthful, one will certainly fall into the evil path of the lower realms. And how is it to be fully known? In the past, when I first remembered, in the kalpa called 'Completely Arranged,' in the Buddha-field called 'Manifest Appearance of Buddhas,' after the Buddha called 'King of Manifest Appearance of Buddhas' passed into nirvana, there appeared someone who claimed to be a yogi named 'Good Ornament.'
