并且，是获得地的瑜伽士。种姓之子，你们也应当像兄弟和朋友那样了解他。所有十方四时的佛陀，也会认为那位瑜伽士是亲近的圣子，并给予加持。那是什么原因呢？因为这位秘密的人，具有听闻和信奉的福分，也是从无数劫的彼岸积累和修习的力量所致，应当这样理解。因此，应当理解你语狮子等金刚持与他们没有差别。他们的成就也在今生实现，其他世间的强大力量也会听从命令并执行任务。语狮子又请问：世尊，上师金刚阿阇黎大瑜伽士及其眷属，对于这秘密的法门，以信奉和虔诚之心，舍弃虚伪和积蓄的后世有信心的众生，他们的果报会怎样？我们等应当如何看待？世尊开示说：种姓之子，有信心的众生，上师及其眷属，对于这秘密的法门，以信奉和虔诚之心，用耳朵听闻，舍弃虚伪和积蓄，他们的果报的善妙功德，也极难述说和衡量。有些人向充满佛土的每一位凡夫布施，或者舍弃生命，或者行持十善业，四无量心，四摄事，以因的法门利益众生，但与上师及其眷属和以这秘密的法门一瞬间利益一个众生的功德善根相比，连百分之一都比不上。种姓之子，有些人对充满佛土的每一位声闻，缘觉，菩萨的法门，恭敬供养如法行持无数劫，那样的功德，也比不上对安住于这秘密法门的一位瑜伽士，哪怕仅仅供养一顿饭，或者一瞬间的如法恭敬的功德的百分之一。

And, it is the yogi who has attained the ground. Sons of the lineage, you should also understand him as like a brother and friend. All the Buddhas of the ten directions and four times will also regard that yogi as a close holy son and will bless him. What is the reason for that? Because this secret person, who has the fortune to hear and believe, is also due to the power of accumulating and practicing from the other shore of countless kalpas, it should be understood in this way. Therefore, it should be understood that you, the lion of speech, and other Vajra-holders are no different from them. Their accomplishments will also be realized in this very life, and other great powers of the world will also listen to orders and carry out tasks. Again, the lion of speech asked: Blessed One, what will be the result for the later generations of faithful beings, the great yogi, the Vajra Master, and his retinue, who have faith and devotion in this secret vehicle, and who have abandoned deceit and accumulation? How should we and others view them? The Blessed One said: Son of the lineage, the faithful beings, the Guru and his retinue, who have faith and devotion in this secret vehicle, listen with their ears, and abandon deceit and accumulation, the good qualities of their fruition are also extremely difficult to describe and measure. Some people give alms to every ordinary person filling the Buddha-fields, or give up their lives, or practice the ten virtues, the four immeasurables, and the four objects of gathering, benefiting beings through the path of cause, but compared to the merit and root of virtue of benefiting one being for a moment through the Guru and his retinue and this secret vehicle, even one part in a hundred thousand is not comparable. Son of the lineage, some people respectfully serve and honor in accordance with the Dharma for countless kalpas every Shravaka, Pratyekabuddha, or Bodhisattva vehicle filling the Buddha-fields, but that merit is not even one part in a hundred thousand of the merit of respectfully serving in accordance with the Dharma for even one meal or a moment a yogi who abides in this secret vehicle.

I am not capable! What is the reason for that? Because the Secret Vehicle (Tantra) itself produces the Hearer Vehicle, the Solitary Buddha Vehicle, and the Bodhisattva Vehicle, and the Secret Vehicle itself is said to be a place of resort as a means of leading beings into it, but not a place to be permanently established. Therefore, even my emanations only teach how to subdue various different beings. Therefore, the merits of the Secret Mantra are inconceivable. Noble son, some people cultivate roots of virtue extensively through the Vehicle of Cause for incalculable kalpas, but the merit of contemplating the meaning of this Secret Vehicle for even a moment is far superior, not even one hundred thousandth can compare. Noble son, some people, for as many kalpas as there are grains of sand in the Ganges River, as ordinary beings, Hearers, Solitary Buddhas, or Bodhisattvas, fill entire Buddhafields with flowers, garlands, scented oils, canopies, banners, streamers, pennants, and various kinds of wonderful music, and offer them, but even the merit of a single yogi dwelling in the Secret Vehicle, momentarily enjoying the pleasures of the senses by abandoning deceit and accumulation, is far superior, not even one hundred thousandth can compare. What is the reason for that? Because the accumulation of merit and wisdom of ordinary beings, Hearers, Solitary Buddhas, or Bodhisattvas is not even one hundred thousandth of the merit and wisdom of a single hair-pore of one who dwells in the Secret Vehicle. Similarly, the accumulation of merit and wisdom of someone who fills entire Buddhafields with flowers and so on is not even one hundred thousandth of the merit and wisdom of a single mote of dust of a great collection of sensual pleasures. And also vehicle, abiding in the secret vehicle, the lama and retinue, with a mind of devotion, abandoning deceit and accumulation, the accumulation of merit and wisdom is immeasurable. That accumulation of merit and wisdom, even all-knowing Buddhas cannot count. Then the Lion of Speech said: Blessed One, the qualities of secret mantra are immeasurable. Sugata is immeasurable. Blessed One, however, in order to guide us and future beings, I beseech you to explain the arguments of past history, please grant the opportunity to explain. The Lord of Secrets said: Lion of Speech, you boldly ask me whatever you want, and I will tell you. Then the Lion of Speech said: Blessed One, what will be the merit and maturation of hearing this secret vehicle with the ear faculty? The Lord of Secrets said: Sons of lineage, listen! The merit of hearing this secret vehicle with the ear faculty is that even hearing its name alone will save from the lower realms. How is that fully understood? In the past, when the first thought arose, in the three levels of the secret vehicle's divine realm, practicing according to the Dharma, a divine son named Radiant, due to the arrival of the impermanent moment, the omens of death appeared. He developed a feeling of extreme displeasure, and his mind was only thinking about where he would be born in the next life. That son, through clairvoyance, saw that he would be born into the kind of animal that eats impure things, and a feeling of extreme fear arose in his mind, seeing that there was no other protector, he heard the name of the secret vehicle and remembered it as such. At that time, that divine son named Radiant was liberated from the path of the lower realms and was born in the place where the secret vehicle is held. Having been born there, he became fortunate to enjoy the great assembly, it should be known as such. Again he said: Lord of Secrets, for the person who rejoices, believes, and generates desire in this secret vehicle, what is the merit of that maturation?
