For the assembly of wrathful deities, accomplishment is achieved by burning in the manner of the four activities. Add the mantra and the desired name, and speak words of entreaty. On cloth or birch bark, write the mantras of the peaceful, increasing, subjugating, and wrathful wheels. Place them in three metals—iron, copper, and silver—and by offering and entreating, one will not be harmed by spirits. On field cloth or a lower garment, write the mantras of the subjugating and forceful wheels. Place them inside a clay pot or skull. In charnel grounds and other places, by entreating and pressing down, one will not be harmed by spirits, but will be suppressed. The characteristics of the fire deity of the four activities are: the fire deity is Limitless Light, the fire goddess is in white garments. By the union of skillful means and wisdom, one will accomplish whatever activity is desired. Apply pacification to the violent, apply increase to the impoverished, subjugation is for those who are greedy, and wrathful activity is for those who are hateful. Everything will become peaceful, filling the sky like a wish-fulfilling jewel, attracting and following like a shadow, becoming intoxicated and bursting into flames. The Victorious One has spoken of these as the fruits of the four activities. The fifteenth chapter, the section on the order of activities, from the Tantra King, the Noble Wisdom Wrathful Lightning Wheel. Then, the Bhagavan, the Lord of Secrets, entered into the samadhi called "Subduing All Beings." Having entered, he spoke these binding words of restraint: Defaming the Vajra Master, destroying the Buddha's teachings, violating the lineage, quarreling with Vajra brothers, becoming an enemy of all yogis, harming all beings, and for beings without attachment, it is said that binding words of restraint should be applied. Attracting, killing, drying up, separating, expelling, suppressing, and binding—these seven activities will be accomplished, it is well said. When performing the activity of attracting, one should be endowed with yoga, take earth from one's own footprints, as well as ashes from burned human bones, shrouds from charnel grounds, earth from the banks of rivers flowing into the ocean, leaves blown by the wind, and soil from ant hills, mix them together, and moisten them with alcohol and urine. Then, at the heart of a complete image, sew on birch bark or tree bark, and then a dog
