The very nature of the mind of the unborn, First is the image of song, Second is the image of the tongue, Third is that which arises from the tip, Fourth is appearing in the lines of arising, Fifth is the continuous path of speech. The shape for the lords of Lanka is different, like this: even just the letter A, there is A like a lion yawning, A like a lion stretching, A like a lion making a sound, A like being fully endowed with bindu, A like Amokarika, A like a radiant line, and so on, they are different. Similarly, for Ka, there is Ka like a lute, Ka like a trident, Ka like a jackal, Ka like a frog, Ka like a three-pointed banner, and so on.

Furthermore, ཀ (ka) is like a little donkey. ག (ga) is like a rhinoceros. གྷ (gha) is like a vase. ང (nga) is like a skeleton. ཙ (tsa) is like tsa sha'i kha. ཚ (tsha) is like an umbrella. ཛ (dza) is like a net. ཛྷ (dzha) is like a large net. ཉ (nya) is like the kha of a banner. ཏ (ta) is like Jambudvipa. ཐ (tha) is like tha bu ra'i kha. ད (da) is like the kha of a dakini. དྷ (dha) is like the kha of a swan. ན (na) is like to la kha. ཊ (Ta) is like eating. ཋ (Tha) is like a boulder. ཌ (Da) is like a tooth. ཌྷ (Dha) is like a bow. ཎ (Na) is like the kha of a buffalo. པ (pa) is like Mount Sumeru. ཕ (pha) is like a garuda. བ (ba) is like a swamp bird. བྷ (bha) is like a palm. མ (ma) is like a monkey show. ཡ (ya) is like a crescent moon. ཝ (wa) is like rka ti ka'i kha. ར (ra) is like kun ci ta'i kha. ལ (la) is like a crow eating meat. ཤ (sha) is like a rabbit. ཥ (Sha) is like shan ta kha. ས (sa) is like a Brahmin begging. ཧ (ha) is like haraka. ཀྵ (kSha) is like the kha of a rakshasa. ཨི (i) is like supporting hope with crossed iron hooks. ཨུ (u) is like drawing accumulated light with hope. ཨེ (e) is like accumulating hope and drawing with light. ཨོ (o) is like a drawn bow. ཨོྃ (oṃ, Sanskrit: oṃ, ओँ, perfection) is like an erected umbrella. ཨྃ (ām, Sanskrit: āḥ, आः, ah) is like a steadfast ascetic. རི (ri) is like being drawn by an iron chain. ལི (li) is like being drawn by a crow's claw, and so on. Each letter has a different shape. Thus, the leading sound (འདྲེན་པ་) is like a curved iron hook.
