Thus have I heard, at one time, the Bhagavan of all the Tathagatas, the great Lord of Secrets, Vajradhara, the man who proclaims as he has heard, the lion of speech, thus dwelling in inconceivable Buddha-fields, residing in the diverse realms of sentient beings, the inconceivable, the unthinkable Dharma, the immeasurable, the praised by all the Victorious Ones, the inseparable Dharani, the nature of all knowledge, the secret mantra, as it is in its entirety. Listening without contradiction and showing without error the mirror of all Dharmas, he proclaims thus: In the Buddha-field of the Immovable One, called Manifest Joy, adorned with the rays of Vajra, on the mountain of the Vajra heap, the great being called Vajra Mind, together with a retinue of a hundred million Bodhisattvas, in the mandala of the mind.
