No. Branch purification is like this: for whom is ignorance, self-awareness is extremely pure. Entering into bliss is maturation. Where it appears is constant. Complete and utter purification is like this: whichever is the nature of space itself is extremely pure. Enjoying bliss is maturation. Complete transformation is constant. Great purification from all places and in all ways is like this: whichever appears as the basis, whichever is unpolluted, that is it. Whichever is without a body is extremely pure. Complete perfection is maturation. Whatever arises is constant. Lord of Lanka, for that, where there is purification, branch purification, and complete and utter purification, it is called impure. Why is that? Because for what cannot be purified in all places, one desires purification and makes purification. Said: Secret Lord, how is it that for that, where there is purification, branch purification, and complete and utter purification, why is it said to be pure? Said: Lord of Lanka, those are because from which completely obscured, where there is awakening, branch awakening, and complete and utter awakening. Lord of Lanka, for what cannot be purified in all places, it is called pure. Why is that? Because for that, there is no cause whatsoever that needs to be purified. Again, the Lord of Lanka asked: Secret Lord, what is constant but not mature? What is mature but not constant? What is both? What is neither? Said: Lord of Lanka, the four questions as you asked are like this: what is constant but not mature is, whichever, even though passed away, benefits immeasurable samsara by the power of the lotus. What is mature but not constant is the very prior of the earth. What is both is whichever is nirvana with remainder. What is neither is extreme purity. Again, the Lord of Lanka asked: Secret Lord, what is the action of those? What is the body? What is the intention? What is the basis? Said: Lord of Lanka, the action of those is the action of all Buddhas, it is the constant activity that manifests in any way. The body is the body of all Buddhas, it is completely mature. The intention is the intention of all Buddhas, it is extremely pure. The basis is Buddha

It is the source of all, it is that itself. The lords of Lanka are many, and one, and one and many, and are also called beyond those. What is the reason for that? Because the continuum is various and immeasurable, it is called many. Maturity is called one because everything is one. Perfect purity is called one and many because it is the basis of continuity and maturity. That itself is called beyond those because there is no decrease or increase due to the arising and ceasing of those. Again, the lord of Lanka asked: Are those secret lords permanent? Or are they impermanent? Are they existent? Or are they non-existent? Are they one? Or are they separate? The secret lord said: Lord of Lanka, the six questions you asked are like this: those are permanent, and not impermanent. Permanent is also permanent, and impermanent is also not impermanent. It is not permanent, and it is not not impermanent either. Those are existent, and also non-existent. Existent is also existent, and non-existent is also non-existent. It is not existent, and it is not non-existent either. It is one, and also separate. It is not one, and it is not separate either. It is also liberated from the nature of one and separate. Lord of Lanka, what is the reason for that? It is like this: because it is unchanging and without opponent, and whatever arises is imperceptible, and it is the basis of all, and the limit is completely imperceptible, and it is not constant, and it constantly arises, and it is the supreme intention, and there is no entity, and it has become the realm of pure lineage, and it transcends the edge and the center, and it transcends terminology, and it is primordial as it is, and it is inconceivable, and it is immeasurable, and it is the object of individual experience, and it is equal in any difference, therefore, it should also be held as permanent. It should also be held as impermanent. It should also be held as existent. It should also be held as non-existent. It should also be held as one. It should also be held as separate. It should also be held as liberated from the nature of one and separate. Lord of Lanka, in that way, for the sake of those to be tamed, there is no certainty in the body, and it should also be held as inconceivable. It should also be held as five. It should also be held as four. It should also be held as three. It should also be held as two.
