楞伽的主宰们以十二种光辉圆满，那是哪些呢？就像这样：身躯高大肢体粗壮的光辉，数量众多与因缘相符的光辉，值得尊敬视为主尊的光辉，特殊融入与心意相合的光辉，洪亮之声充满三千世界的光辉，言辞迅速断除疑惑的光辉，向自身展示日常所需的光辉，特殊功德显现的光辉，广大无有希望与恐惧的光辉，明晰远离二边的光辉，慈悲心与誓愿圆满的光辉，不愚昧以方便调伏的光辉，无有却不知耗尽的光辉，于一示现万千所愿的光辉，将损害转为利益的光辉，善巧方便不为过失所染的光辉，不怯懦安享威仪的光辉，于轮回中长久不忘的光辉，恒常作怙主救护的光辉，心意之义自然成就的光辉。楞伽的主宰，何为表征的分别呢？就像这样：作为法王，获得无所畏惧的大权力的表征，安享极大威仪的表征，任何军队都不能使其畏惧的表征，获得长远利益和统治的表征，以力量压倒其他一切的表征，以神变不住而行的表征，拥有无尽宝藏的表征。楞伽的主宰，对于他来说，获得大权力的表征是这样的：完全具备十种自在。十种是什么呢？对于生、资具、意乐、神变、法、智慧、心、寿命、业、愿都自在。楞伽的主宰，何为安享极大威仪的表征呢？就像这样：安享四种手印，即身之平等性，心之明点，语之诠释，事业之波涛。楞伽的主宰，任何军队都不能使其畏惧的表征是这样的：娇媚之态，勇士之态，恐怖之态，呵责之态，欢笑之态，慈悲之

Those lords of Lanka are complete with twelve kinds of splendor. What are they? They are as follows: the splendor of a large body and coarse limbs; the splendor of being numerous and in accordance with conditions; the splendor of seeing the venerable as the chief; the splendor of being specially involved and in accordance with the mind; the splendor of a great voice filling the three thousand worlds; the splendor of quick words cutting off doubts; the splendor of showing oneself daily; the splendor of seeing special qualities; the splendor of being vast and without hope or fear; the splendor of being clear and abandoning the two extremes; the splendor of compassion and vows being complete; the splendor of subduing without ignorance through skillful means; the splendor of being non-existent yet inexhaustible; the splendor of showing all desires in one; the splendor of turning harm into benefit; the splendor of skillful means not being stained by faults; the splendor of not being timid and enjoying majesty; the splendor of not forgetting for a long time in samsara; the splendor of constantly being a protector and refuge; the splendor of the meaning of intention being spontaneously accomplished. O Lord of Lanka, what is the discernment of signs? It is as follows: the sign of having attained great power as a king of Dharma, without fear; the sign of enjoying great majesty; the sign of not being intimidated by any army; the sign of attaining lasting benefit and dominion; the sign of overpowering all others with strength; the sign of moving without abiding through miraculous power; the sign of possessing an inexhaustible treasury. O Lord of Lanka, for him, the sign of attaining great power is this: that he is completely endowed with the ten powers. What are the ten? He has power over birth, resources, inclination, miraculous power, Dharma, wisdom, mind, life, karma, and aspiration. O Lord of Lanka, what is the sign of enjoying great majesty? It is as follows: enjoying the four mudras, namely, the equality of body, the bindu of mind, the explanation of speech, and the waves of activity. O Lord of Lanka, the sign of not being intimidated by any army is this: the manner of coquetry, the manner of a hero, the manner of terror, the manner of rebuke, the manner of laughter, the manner of compassion.

O Lord of Lanka, the signs of attaining lasting benefit and power are as follows: a mind of loving-kindness, counsel of compassion, means of joy, and the essence of equanimity. O Lord of Lanka, the signs of overpowering others with strength are as follows: the power of compassion, the power of Dharma-nature, the power of non-discrimination, the power of accomplishment, the power of non-abandonment, the power of immovability, the power of aspiration, the power of emanation, the power of non-relinquishment, and the power of attachment. O Lord of Lanka, what are the signs of moving without abiding through miraculous power? They are as follows: the miraculous power of Dharma-nature, the miraculous power of wisdom, the miraculous power of compassion, and the miraculous power of emanation. O Lord of Lanka, what are the signs of possessing an inexhaustible treasury? They are as follows: fulfilling desires, arising inexhaustibly, dispelling darkness, and never ceasing. O Lord of Lanka, these are called the transformations of miraculous power. O Lord of Lanka, all the immeasurable thoughts gathered by the transformations of miraculous power are fully explained, each unmixed and as one. Having spoken thus, the Bodhisattvas of inferior bodies, such as the Lord of Lanka, saw all phenomena as merely transformations of miraculous power. The sixteenth chapter, "The Chapter on the Manifestation of Miraculous Power," from the Great Sutra, the Compilation of the Intentions of All Buddhas. Then, again, the Lord of Secrets called out to the Lord of Lanka and said: O Lord of Lanka, what is the transformation of the appearance of Dharma?
