The Lord of Secrets said: The Tathāgatagarbha of sentient beings, the Lord of Lanka, and the Tathāgatagarbha of Vajrasattva, are inseparable and indivisible. How is that? It is like this: Whatever is the Tathāgatagarbha of the mind of attachment, that is the Tathāgatagarbha of Vajrasattva. Whatever is the Tathāgatagarbha of Vajrasattva, that is Suchness. Whatever is the Tathāgatagarbha of the mind without attachment, that is the Tathāgatagarbha of Vajrasattva. The Tathāgatagarbha of Vajrasattva is Suchness. Whatever is the Suchness of the mind of hatred, that is the Tathāgatagarbha of Vajrasattva. The Tathāgatagarbha of Vajrasattva is Suchness.
