What's the use of saying "is" or "is not"? Who, not understanding, would conceive that this sky does not exist? Who understands, will not think at all. Not thinking "is not," nor speaking words. For cause, action, and categories, Characteristics, certainty, essence, And result and purpose, each arises. Thus, here, what is the cause? The self-arisen one itself, with thought and discernment. What is born into what? These two are the cause itself. From what, what is not, how many? Distinction, detail, difference, Certainty, entry, connection, combination, Holding them, not reversed, Manifestation, desire, connection. Categories are of two kinds, according to their meaning. It is certain for all. That itself unmixed, completely perfect. Non-entity, unthinking, completely perfect. Separate, distinct, inconceivable. Unmixed, thus it does as it is. Here, without reversal, Fully comprehended, it is the best. From all sides unconfused, all is clear. For what is there no obstruction, no hindrance? Entering all, cutting off ignorance. Birth pervades all. What arises, what's wind enters? The wisdom of the wise is immeasurable. For what is reversed, that itself is good. That itself is the best. With the lamp of clear aim, One should look at that itself. Not knowing the light of the lamp, All that is visible is obscured by darkness. Even the sky will not become light, But goes to the great city of the blind. The lamp burns, illuminating all, With light dispelling darkness, Not mistaken, not fabricated, thus it is. The lamp will be seen by the aim. Therefore, holy friends, The precious lamp, the fire of burning, Without mixing darkness and light in the aim, How can one recognize that itself is gold? Friends, know that those are holy lamps, should be mixed, should know that the holy intention has been well deliberated. From the Great Sutra, the Collection of the Intentions of All Buddhas, the sixtieth chapter, Teaching the Lamp of the Eye of Yoga. Then, the lesser holy great Bodhisattvas, such as the lord of Lanka, completely asked questions. "O Lord of Secrets, how can one fully understand the intention to take vows to become a special guru?" After praying thus, the Lord of Secrets said, "Friends,"
