In that supreme being, it is said that all thoughts are gathered. That itself is an immeasurable and supreme palace, a wondrous wish-fulfilling jewel house. Unmade, self-born, without inner or outer distinctions, it is entirely manifest within. Whatever gathers here is not an ordinary gathering, but the supreme gathering itself. All dharmas are gathered, without arising, it is the supreme delight of immeasurable victors. Whatever desired and used implements are here, are the great implements themselves. If one knows this supreme implement, it is the root of all implements. Cultivation is not the cultivation of the cultivator, and the object of thought is without focus. If one knows this sacred secret path, this is the supreme path of cultivation. Guarding means not focusing on what is to be guarded. Emptiness without arising, this secret path, if one knows the words with great center and edge, it is the sacred secret of guarding. The path of words, equally spoken, equally unfocused. This secret is all one, where is there any superiority in equality? Equal to the gathering of all thoughts. Whatever other ascetic practices there are, one indulges and frolics in them. All asceticism is here, entering here, therefore it is said that supreme asceticism is the gathering of all. This path is truly the secret of the mind, because it is already inherently accomplished, there is no need for supplication. The stream of accomplishment is uninterrupted, thus it is said, is the gathering of supreme thoughts. Thus, if one sees the secret of the mind, because one sees the path not seen before, but what is seen is actually seeing nothing. To whomever it appears, that is seeing the path. Friends, these are the supreme paths spoken by the holy ones. From the great sutra of the gathering of the thoughts of all Buddhas, the fifty-ninth chapter, the chapter on yoga followers. Then, the lord of Lanka and other companion bodhisattvas asked the lord of secrets. O lord of secrets, how should we fully understand the intention of the vow to light the jewel-light lamp here? After asking this question, the lord of secrets said: Friends, the jewel-light is the source of light. Even a storm cannot extinguish it, it only dispels darkness, therefore it is called a lamp. This is the wisdom that dispels ignorance, like the essence of the sun or a jewel lamp dispelling darkness.

Just as there is no basis for non-existence, there is no basis for non-knowing in the nature of what is known. Furthermore, when the sacred lamp is extinguished, the single essence of all things manifests in various forms, such as: the awareness of darkness, the awareness of wonder, the awareness of children, the awareness of biased reasoning, the awareness of distinguishing between extremes and the middle, and the awareness of the sacred essence itself. O friends, what is the awareness of darkness? It is the awareness that knows in opposition to this. The awareness of wrong views speaks of differences and clings to duality. Children are like this: they speak of non-existence but cling to the existence of everything. Like this, from dust to yojana, instant, kalpa, stars, sun and moon, mountain, surroundings, sentient beings' bodies, mind, life, measure of enjoyment, time, place, destruction, the nature of disappearance, in all different minute places, after destroying, they say non-existence, but say existence. Because of small interest, it is not like that. Wherever the yoga biased logic is here, all of this is only here, appearing as unreal consciousness. That very nature, uncreated, suchness. Because it exists, they think Dharmakaya is permanent. Yogis who definitely distinguish, all those who have the nature of illusion, because of appearance, they do worldly activities. There is no definite distinction. Some are so sure, that it will not come from that other than that. That very thing, because of that, is unreal, so it does not exist in the sacred essence. Some, because they have not grasped it, so that appearance can be anywhere. The most subtle place knows everything completely. Like a deceiver, it exists but does not exist. What is the sacredness of the sacred essence? The nature of reality is Buddha from the beginning, because it is not that, because of reversed views, so it is said to be Buddha from the beginning. It is just a nominal expression. The initial expression is the path of words, for those who are separated from the two names, do not impose words of addition and subtraction. The nominal expression of expression transcends the path of words. Regarding this space, whether it exists or not, fools will argue. Wise people are not like that. It is very surprising to argue about that. Suchness, whether it exists or not, children will argue. Those men are not like that. Arguing is the licentiousness of wisdom. Like this, all phenomena that appear, are originally or spontaneously enlightened, not becoming existent from non-existence. For the very nature of reality.
