also appear, and they also teach the Dharma truthfully as it is. Furthermore, in order to conquer the king of ignorance, it appears as the form of Brahma. In order to conquer the king of hatred, it appears as the form of Vishnu. In order to conquer the lord of desire, it appears as the form of a wrathful deity. In order to conquer the lord of pride, it appears as the form of Ganapati. In order to conquer the lord of jealousy, it appears as the form of Indra. Similarly, it appears in the form of all beings, that is, it appears as the desire for entering the womb, desirelessness, freedom, power, earth-holder, monkey, goat, herdsman, dog, bee, crow, firefly, living beings, and whatever is grasped, and appears with its attire, and appears in the same way to those who desire it. Just as the image of the sun and moon wheel, without moving from the immeasurable palace, appears as different images in different waters, so too, the Buddha Vajrasattva, without moving from himself, appears as infinite Buddhas in immeasurable realms. Therefore, whatever beings reside in the infinite Buddha lands named with various names, knowing the various names of the Buddha Vajrasattva, even if they speak for inexpressible kalpas, they cannot determine the limit of the names residing in the Buddha land of the eastern direction alone. Similarly, even if the beings residing in the Buddha lands of all ten directions speak for inexpressible kalpas, they cannot exhaust the names. If beings with small minds hear of the immeasurable Buddha lands and endless names of Vajrasattva, they will become mentally broken and faint. Just as in all those Buddha lands of Vajrasattva, the mandala of the mind, shining with light, the very nature of secret mantra, is truly and infallibly taught in a gradual and sudden manner. Why is that? Because those great Bodhisattvas residing in the Buddha land of Vajrasattva, due to the diverse nature of their minds, have extremely profound wisdom.
