Om. Those who have a firm conviction in the rituals, all of them are yogis, but they are not in accordance with the true meaning. In conduct, they seem to be in accordance, but they are not in accordance with the true meaning. They are attached to sectarian views, but they are not attached to the meaning of the holy ones. Although they can perceive the taste of sudden pleasures, they do not perceive the taste of the nature of reality. Although they say selflessness and freedom from extremes, they are not separated from sectarian views. Although they can stop coarse thoughts, they cannot stop the thoughts of grasping and being grasped. Yogis who generate thoughts about the middle and the extremes, with the lamp of words and phrases, those who seek the gold of the true Middle Way, after capturing this monkey of desire for thoughts, should give it the name of a thief cat. After blocking all the gold holes and star holes, after demolishing the tables and cabinets, if the treasury of the king is opened, they are the masters who possess perfect enjoyment. Those who seek the path of the true Middle Way should abandon the five faults of thought. The mountain of coarse thoughts, as well as the five aspects of signs, movement, feeling, arising feeling, and arising place. They also think in this way. There are also two kinds of thoughts: coarse and subtle. Similarly, there are two kinds of signs: large and small. There are two kinds of movements: long and short. There are two kinds of feelings: clear and unclear. There are two kinds of arising feelings: fast and slow. This is what obscures the meaning, the great thought is a great obstacle. Why? Because the Middle Way is not seen. Like darkness and thickness, and universal darkness and clouds, and like fog, obscuring, so the light is not clear, and cannot be seen. This also has two kinds of two, darkness and great darkness, like universal darkness, completely thick and obscured, and darkness has two kinds of large and small. Great cloud darkness and blur, and fog filled and hazy. The three evil realms and the half-light place. The four desire pleasure places, and the meditation place and the four continuous places. Hearers and solitary realizers fall into the Bodhisattva. The darkness that has become obscuring appears as six kinds of distractions of signs. The nature of inner and outer signs, as well as attention and evil realms. These are desired to be very clear, where the Middle Way view is great. The fault of obscuring the Middle Way path, what five kinds of appearances obscure? Arising feeling, sinking, dullness, clinging, and by the power of steadfast distraction, cliff and darkness and obstruction.

, it is only constant annihilation. These are the faults of Madhyamaka, in Madhyamaka desiring the yoga of a Bodhisattva. Seeking the path of certainty in Madhyamaka, constantly dwelling in solitude in monasteries, with the wisdom that measures by two valid cognitions, cutting off the pursuit of conceptual thought. From what does the prior thought of existence and non-existence arise? Upon examination, it is known that thought arises from thought. The mountain of thought will be pacified, therefore it is not in the three lower realms. If asked, from what does realization arise? It arises from signs. If one can know signs well as illusion, the dharmas of signs will be pacified, therefore it is not in the lower desire realm. How are those signs then? They arise in the elements. If one knows memory as a fault and pacifies it, one will eliminate the faults of wandering, it is not in the second desire realm. How is that wandering then? It arises in the same way. If one knows it in that way, one will eliminate the feeling of faults, it is not in the third desire realm. If one investigates it in that way, it is the outer and the self-nature. If one knows it well as a fault, where is cessation and arising? It is not in the fourth desire realm. From what does it arise? It arises from the dharmas of the mind, if one knows the mind well as illusion, the dharmas of the mind will be pacified. The aggregates are like reflections, the mind is regarded as like a mirage. Liberated from the extremes of existence and non-existence, knowing this is not in the fifth desire realm. The mind is not regarded as an existing thing, or called non-existence, it does not fall into a strange state, it does not turn into dullness, therefore it does not become a fault of meditation. Not following after perception, therefore it does not come to the place of sentient beings. Seeing the arising and the alaya consciousness, it is also not in a peaceful place. Not regarding peace as peace, how much less in the realm of self-arisen? It is also not only mind, therefore the Bodhisattva is also not there. In the Madhyamaka of emptiness and equality, because of the distinct differences without separation, therefore it does not purify the stages of the ground. The Madhyamaka that transcends biased views, in that selflessness, with the momentary sickness of the mind, constantly and immovably remember. Thus abiding in it, the feeling of signs will arise as follows: warmth, signs, miracles, direct realization and wisdom arise. Warmth is movement
