I give away various precious treasures, Relinquishing royal power, wealth, and self, I tame beings who are fond of generosity. Those steadfast ones adorn their bodies with excellent marks, Wearing the finest clothes and ornaments, Adorned with garlands and anointed with incense, They tame sentient beings by displaying these forms. For those who are delighted and satisfied upon seeing, and are exceedingly joyful, those supreme minds, with supreme forms and beautiful forms, completely demonstrate the excellence of form, taming sentient beings who are fond of form. They produce the melodious sound of the Kalaviṅka, And the calls of cuckoos, swans, and all birds, With the sounds of drums, Brahma, and Kinnaras, They also teach the Dharma to all who are fond of it. Whatever of the eighty-four thousand, Whatever Buddhas Accomplish the benefit of beings, Through those distinct Dharma gates, They tame the sentient beings of the world as they wish. They also act as friends in happiness and suffering, Likewise, they also act as friends in benefit and harm, Becoming friends in all activities, They tame sentient beings through the means of friendship. For the sake of friends, they endure suffering, harm, and conditioned faults, For the benefit and happiness of all beings, They accept harm for the sake of friends. Where there is no renunciation and no Dharma, Going to solitary places and not perceiving liberation, There, having completely abandoned royal power and wealth, With a peaceful mind, they manifest renunciation without dwelling anywhere. For the sake of completely liberating all beings, From household, bondage, and the place of existence, Not dwelling in any desired pleasures, They manifest renunciation and speak of liberation. They articulate the ten conducts, And whatever Dharma practices of the great beings are, And all the practices of the sages, without omission, They fully articulate and accomplish the benefit of beings. Where sentient beings are immeasurable and long-lived, Possessing happiness and having little affliction, There, they show being threatened by old age and having diseases, Being powerless and under the control of death. Showing a world where desire is blazing and hatred is blazing, Where the great fire of ignorance is blazing in the world, And where old age, sickness, and death are blazing, They tame sentient beings by showing this world. They possess the ten powers and four confidences of the Buddha, and

The eighteen distinctions also, express the greatness of the Buddha's essence, and the Buddha's qualities benefit sentient beings. All of these, after mentioning the miraculous manifestations, by the power of the blessing of the body, at all times, demonstrate the miracles of the Thus-Gone One, and subdue sentient beings through the various transformations of miracles. They, through various methods and means, wander in the world and accomplish the benefit of beings. Unattached to the world like a lotus in water, they widely roam in joy and faith. They are kings of poets, composing poems, dancers, drummers, wrestlers, and musicians, adorned with beautiful ornaments and garlands, dancing, and illusionists who everywhere display many forms. They become villagers, village chiefs, and helmsmen, and likewise become captains, merchants, and householders. They become kings, ministers, guides, messengers, and physicians, worldly treatises, and ritual masters. They transform into great trees in monasteries, and inexhaustible treasures of medicine and jewels, wish-fulfilling gems and wish-granting trees, and guide those who are lost on the path. Knowing things that have arisen in the world not long ago, yet not knowing the actions of sentient beings, they tell them about farming, business methods, and the various crafts of the world. Whatever actions are harmless and non-injurious, bringing happiness to sentient beings, praised by the wise, the power of lineage, medicine, and various treatises, all are truly proclaimed by those sages. Whatever causes gods and humans to have faith, whatever excellent conduct of sages and excellent ascetic practices, all are truly proclaimed by those wise ones. They are wandering non-Buddhists with conduct, practicing asceticism, Gautama, and the practice of silence, to naked, unclothed diligent practitioners, they show themselves as wise teachers of non-Buddhists. They are holders of all ways of life, and those with and without superiors, those with long hair and those with youthful ascetic practices, they also become teachers. Those who follow the sun, ascetics with five fires, those who practice dog and cow asceticism and deer-like behavior, those with topknots and the thirty non-Buddhists, they also become teachers.
