Furthermore, one should not impart mantras merely by knowing the rituals. Only a wise person who understands the tantras can impart secret mantras, detailed hand seal rituals, explain the tantras and mandalas, and should not impart to those who have not entered the mandala. All things resembling weapons, as well as similar sentient beings, and various similar hand seals, should not be eaten or trampled upon. A practitioner with wisdom should not slander the inferior, nor should they touch with impure things, and should not trample with their feet. One should not argue with Mahayana practitioners and the wise, and upon hearing about Bodhisattvas with great power, one should not become annoyed. One should never compete with mantra practitioners. For minor faults, one should not become angry and resort to violence. When abiding in the recitation ritual, one should not sing, dance, or play. One should not wear garlands and ornaments for the sake of beauty. One should completely avoid trampling, jumping, running, and rough behavior, as well as all the unclean places arising from the body. One who abides in the true Dharma should avoid wrong views, falling, changing, and harshness, as well as divisive speech, and should not speak meaningless words. One should not reside with or argue with non-Buddhists. One should not speak of the recitation of secret mantras to those of low caste, such as Chandalas. When a wise person is reciting, one should not speak unnecessarily with others, except for the mantra attendant. One should not anoint the body with sesame oil, nor should one eat sesame seeds. Radishes, garlic, salt, and various kinds of sour wine, small lentils and peas, as well as black beans and sesame cakes, should be completely avoided by those who desire to attain siddhis. All the food of heretical teachers, as well as all the food of tormas, krisara, and milk porridge, should be avoided by those who recite secret mantras. One should not ride in vehicles such as carts, nor should one trample on lotuses, etc. One should not touch discarded food remnants with one's feet. Those who recite secret mantras should completely avoid all coquettish gestures, carrying shoes and umbrellas, and all bodily actions. One should not rub one's feet with one's feet, nor should one rub one's hands with one's hands. One should not dispose of excrement and urine in water, nor should one dispose of it nearby, and one should not hold it only in one's palms.

Ah! Do not eat in a container made of sticks, nor on the back of leaves. The wise should not eat food with attachment. On beds and low couches, the practitioner, the wise one, should not be unclean. Do not sleep with others, nor lie on your back or face down. Do not eat repeatedly, do not eat too little or too much. Also, do not abstain from eating, and do not eat those things that are doubtful. Do not delight in wonders, do not watch all performances, and for all women, for the frivolous, do not love with an attached mind. Abiding in the mantra recitation ritual, with body, speech, and mind, regarding food and behavior, do not be without restraint. The wise householder who recites mantras should not wear clothes that change color, likewise, old and stained clothes, do not wear only one garment. Do not denigrate yourself, nor be displeased with yourself, nor become discouraged, do not forcibly suppress. Unless answering a question, I will not utter secret mantras. Do not slander with a foolish mind, nor let diligence become lax. Do not let the mind become other, do not have many thoughts, without an unclean, attached mind, the reciter should recite secret mantras. Do not perform the deeds of demons, do not perform protection and expulsion. Whether it is one's own mantra or another's, do not perform poisonous deeds with recitation. Unless it is necessary for practice, do not use secret mantras elsewhere. For the sake of competition and awakening, I will not mix secret mantras. The wise should recite at three times, and bathe at three times, and for water such as lakes, purify by sprinkling with mantras. OM HA NA VAJRI VAJRE NA HA (Tibetan, Sanskrit Devanagari, Sanskrit Romanization, Chinese literal meaning). Reciting three times on the ground, applying to the upper body and so on, having done all the actions of the body, the practitioner should bathe. OM VAJRA TARA HUM (Tibetan, Sanskrit Devanagari, Sanskrit Romanization, Chinese literal meaning). For all actions, the wise, by sprinkling this mantra on water, first eliminate obstacles, and then begin to do these actions. NAMAH VAJRAYA, HUM HA NA DHU NA MA THA BI DHAMSAYA UDA SARAYA PHAT (Tibetan, Sanskrit Devanagari, Sanskrit Romanization, Chinese literal meaning). Then the wise should stir the water with their hands and recite. Until the mind becomes pure, this secret mantra should also be recited. NAMO RATNA TRAYAYA, NAMAH CHANDA VAJRAPANAYE, MAHA YAKSHA SENAPATAYE, NAMO VAJRA KRODHA
