That is, the seat of leaves is also explained. With distinctions such as excellence, all general actions, and the auspicious and excellent lotus posture, those are the three ways of sitting. The wise one also sits there, having performed the rituals of offering well, generating great reverence with wisdom, praises the Blessed One, the Tathagata. Then to the Dharma and the Sangha, then to Avalokiteshvara, then to the great King of Vidyas, Vajradhara should also be praised. Protector, possessor of great compassion, omniscient teacher, field of the ocean of merit and virtue, I prostrate to the Tathagata. Through purity, one becomes free from desire, through virtue, one is liberated from the lower realms, the one true and supreme, I prostrate to the peaceful Dharma. Having been liberated, having obtained the path of liberation, abiding perfectly in the trainings, the supreme field, possessing qualities, I also prostrate to the Sangha. Praised by all the Buddhas, accumulating all supreme qualities, named Avalokiteshvara, I prostrate to the ever-loving one. Mighty and fierce, King of Vidyas, virtuous one, tamer of the untamable, I prostrate to Vajradhara. Having thus respectfully joined palms, other bodhisattvas are also praised, praised by the treatises of the Bodhisattvas. Then, individually confess sins, in all directions of the world, whatever Tathagatas reside, Arhats and Bodhisattvas, may they be mindful of me. In whatever lifetime, whatever sins I have committed, and in other previous lifetimes, in this lifetime and in samsara, disturbed by desire, anger, and delusion, and by anger, etc., towards the Buddha, Dharma, and Sangha, teachers and parents, Arhats and Bodhisattvas, and any object of offering, and other sentient beings, those with and without qualities, whatever sinful deeds have been done, and whatever has been caused to be done, and whatever has been slightly rejoiced in, through carelessness, even the slightest, those done by body, speech, and mind, all those gathered together with wisdom, the perfectly enlightened Buddha and all the Buddha's sons, I now, as if directly, prostrate with great reverence. With a mind of regret, having joined palms,

All the faults I have committed, I confess them again and again, one by one. All the non-virtues I have done, Just as the Tathagata fully knows, Thus I confess each and every one. Hereafter, I will not do such things again. For the sake of pacifying the suffering of beings, For as long as I live, To the Buddha, Dharma, and Sangha, I respectfully and truly take refuge. Proclaiming their qualities with reverence, Touching the ground with my head in prostration, The wise, before the Three Jewels, Thus respectfully go for refuge. Thereafter, the supreme seed, Bestowing the fruit of liberation and nectar, Having meditated exceedingly and become supreme, For the sake of accomplishments, I generate it. The suffering of limitless realms of sentient beings, May it be pacified and liberated, And may they be saved from all the lower realms, And for the sake of liberating from all afflictions. In the fearful and uneasy existence, Whatever various sufferings there may be, For the sake of completely protecting them, I generate the mind of enlightenment. May I always be the refuge, For all impoverished sentient beings. May I be the protector of the unprotected, May I be the support of the supportless, May I become the savior of the unsaved, And may I turn suffering into happiness. May I pacify all the afflictions, Of all sentient beings, may they be peaceful. Whatever virtuous deeds, Accumulated here and elsewhere, May they become the nature of, The two accumulations of merit and wisdom. From the door of the six perfections, Whatever diligence I have undertaken, May it also benefit, All sentient beings without exception. Acting to make life endless, And whatever little actions I may do, In short, for the sake of all sentient beings, May all afflictions be pacified, Striving for liberation, Joyfully diligent in enlightenment. Thereafter, the perfect Bodhicitta, Generate it completely according to the ritual, With compassion for all sentient beings, May they always abide in loving-kindness. For the sake of taming the mind well, Practice the six recollections with various methods, With the inner nature of peace, Meditate with one-pointed concentration. Just as the sons of the Buddhas of the past, Made their aspirations, I too, with a virtuous mind, Make such prayers in the same way. Abiding equally in the enjoyment of various Dharmas, I rejoice.
