Homage! Offerings are made for the work of increasing. Those who are intelligent, after making offerings according to the ritual, should empower themselves and begin all the works of increasing. Whatever increases life and youth, blessings, power, strength, qualities, and whatever desires, that which accomplishes it is called increasing. Abiding in the supreme and wrathful, then with firm intention, reciting fierce mantras or destroying enemies by performing burnt offerings. Dates and constellations, it is not necessary to fast and abide. Having made wrath firm, one should immediately begin fierce actions. Especially on the full moon, or during the time of the full moon, at noon or midnight, one should begin fierce actions. Because the Yakshas, flesh-eating spirits, and hosts of demons, the fierce ones bestow blessings, therefore, by this, all actions are accomplished. At that time, fierce actions will be accomplished, therefore it is very auspicious. Or whenever one becomes wrathful, at that very time, begin the action. Because the fierce mantra deities bestow blessings when they are wrathful, therefore, having generated wrath, one should perform fierce actions. For extremely fierce actions, one should wear red clothes, or blue, or wet with water, or even those stained with blood are spoken of. One should open the eyes wide, knit the brows in anger, grind the teeth very hard, press one foot on the other, and sit facing south. With one's body, speech, and mind, one should also establish mindfulness, and having meditated on the mantras as they appear, one should perform fierce actions. There, at all three times, one should smear oneself with black earth, or with the dung of a donkey or a mare, or with ashes from a charnel ground. Flowers, fragrance (or fragments of fragrance), or scatter those without fragrance. Scatter blue or red flowers, or with grains or chaff. Mustard seeds, a little bit of grain, or one's own blood or saltpeter, or leaves of the neem tree, footprints, earth or ashes, dung of gourds and so on, cut hair or bird droppings, feathers or fat of vultures and so on, urine or thorns, fragments of tiles or bone ashes, likewise pieces of meat and so on, Kapittha or Neem tree, or charcoal from the charnel ground.
