Know also from others. Whatever is good in the world, and whatever is the desire for oneself, all these should be offered first to the Buddha, so should the wise act. The food of the secret mantras, and whatever foods are spoken of, the wise should offer those, otherwise accomplishment will not be attained. Those that are contradictory, unmentioned, and those that are slightly bad, all these are especially said to be offered to fierce actions. Fragrance, incense, lamps, flowers, and offerings, all these belong to this very ritual, and are also spoken of for pacification. Having understood the nature, power, and function of the secret mantras, one should offer their offerings and foods in an appropriate manner. Svatika and Ulopa, and whatever food can be obtained, should contain brown sugar. The fruit of the Lapan root and milk porridge are desirable. The torma called "All Desirable," which accomplishes all purposes, should be known to be offered to all secret mantras, but not to fierce actions.
