Hatred is whipped with the rod of royalty, and delusion is bound by the web of dependent origination. At times, even enemies will lay down their arrows, and friends will turn into foes. Likewise, some will become neutral, and that very neutrality will turn into enmity. Therefore, one should recognize the impermanence of friendship, and the wise should never be attached. Transform the thoughts of affection for relatives into resting comfortably in virtue. From the beginning of recitation until the end, Brahmins, Kshatriyas, outcasts, farmers, as well as women, hermaphrodites, boys, girls, and mantra holders, should never speak. If it is truly necessary, one may speak with the mantra attendant, and after the recitation is finished, one may speak a little. After speaking, even if it is spitting or urinating, one should enter the water and bathe. All the virtues of offering flowers, incense, lamps, and butter lamps, as well as keeping vows, diligence, and asceticism, are dedicated to the unsurpassed Buddha-bodhi. For example, when a river flows into the ocean, it becomes one with the taste of salt. Likewise, by dedicating to unsurpassed bodhi, merit becomes one with the taste of victory. For example, some people plant rice for the sake of the fruit, not for the straw. Once the rice is obtained, without deliberately gathering it, the accumulation of straw will naturally occur. Likewise, for the sake of desiring the fruit of bodhi, one accumulates merit, not for enjoyment. But like the accumulation of straw, without deliberately seeking it, people's enjoyment will naturally be fulfilled. May we smoothly obtain longevity, may we find places to practice Dharma properly, may we walk without weariness, and may all our aspirations be forever fulfilled. Fame and obscurity, gain and loss, happiness and suffering, praise and blame, one must destroy these worldly dharmas with the mind, and one should abandon those places that have become sources of sin. For example, even a moment of the ocean will not coexist with a corpse. Likewise, mantras defiled by the mind of discursive thoughts should not be dwelled upon by practitioners even for a moment. For example, in a windless room, a lit lamp does not flicker but burns steadily. Likewise, with a focused mind reciting and feeling joy, the Dharma on the body will burn in the same way.

Ra change. Postures and offerings, as well as dancing, singing, drumming, and the clamor of the crowd, excessive arrogance, strife, and attachment to colors, gamblers gathering wanting to watch, untimely sleep and unproductive speech, evil treatises and poetic recitations, attachment and hatred, arrogance and conceit, holding grudges, laziness, and deceit should be abandoned. Meat, wine, chives, onions, and garlic, oil, sesame, radishes, and mustard greens, food for spirits and divine offerings of torma, the torma offered by Gulang should not be eaten. I, as a mantra practitioner, have three white foods, roots, trunks, fruits, vegetables, yogurt, barley, and ghee, oil, crushed grains, milk porridge, and olkon, soups, etc., are said to be food. Flesh-eating rakshasas and oppressors, zombies, etc., are terrifying practices, when destroying the illusory wheel of forbidden women, the food of crushed grains and oil is most praised. Thus, the practitioner who recites, having done the recitation as if in one day, invites from the ordinary as in the ritual. At night, spread kusha grass and sleep, possessing love, compassion, joy, and equanimity, remembering the Sugata Dharma and the Sangha, after Shariputra and I join our palms and drink, sleep. Thus, the mantra practitioner exhausts all sins. The third chapter of the "Sutra Requested by Noble Manjushri." What are the vajras that a practitioner must hold? Now I will explain. Ten fingers, twelve fingers, sixteen fingers, eighteen fingers, the supreme measure is twenty fingers. The golden vajra is the vidyadhara himself, and it is extremely auspicious for attaining the lands. For the sake of the king, silver is the most excellent, for accomplishing the nagas, the source of copper treasures, for destroying the illusory wheel of the lord of the asuras, to go into caves, use a stone vajra. To accomplish all purposes, use three of iron, to destroy the secret army, use iron. For other demons, use sandalwood and thorns, for health and wealth, use quince wood. To accomplish the yaksha woman, use the wood of Lamdu, for the sake of the Dharma, make it auspicious from birch. To destroy the enemies at the top of the bright wood, to kill people, use human bones. Made of crystal is great illusion, to distinguish, made of Namipa.
