མས་ཤིང་ལྷག་པ་དང་། །དེ་ལྟ་བུ་ལ་མི་ཡི་གསལ་སྟོན་པ། །འབབ་པར་མི་འགྱུར་དགོས་པ་ཡོང་མི་སྟོན། །གསལ་སྟོན་དབབ་ཕྱིར་སྔོན་དུ་ཆོ་ག་བཞིན། །བཟླས་ཤིང་ཚེས་གྲངས་བཟང་ལ་སྔགས་པ་ཡང་། །སྨྱུང་བྱས་དགོངས་ཀར་ས་དང་ལྕི་བ་ཡིས། །བ་ཀོ་ཙམ་གྱིས་ས་གཞི་ལེགས་པར་བྱུག །བྱུག་སྤོས་དང་ནི་མེ་ཏོག་བདུག་སྤོས་དང་། །ལྷ་བཤོས་མར་མེ་དག་ ཀྱང་ཕུལ་ནས་སུ། །བྱིས་པ་གཞོན་ནུ་སྟ་གོན་གནས་པར་བྱ། །དེ་ནས་ནང་པར་ཆོ་ག་འདི་ཀུན་བྱ། །ཁྲུས་བྱས་ལུས་ལ་གོས་དཀར་གཙང་བགོས་ཏེ། །ཤར་ཕྱོགས་ཁ་བལྟས་ཀུ་ཤའི་སྟན་སྟེང་དུ། །འདུག་ནས་གསང་སྔགས་རྗེས་སུ་དྲན་པར་བྱ། །མེ་ལོང་ཐལ་བ་གཙང་མས་ལན་བདུན་ནམ། །བརྒྱད་དམ་ཡང་ན་བཅུར་ནི་ཕྱིས་ནས་སུ། །རྩེ་གཅིག་སེམས་ཀྱིས་གསང་སྔགས་ཟློས་བཞིན་དུ། །བུས་པ་གཞོན་ནུ་ནུབ་ཏུ་ཁ་བསྟན་ནས། །ལྷ་ཡི་མིག་གིས་བལྟས་ན་འདས་པ་དང་། །ད་ལྟར་དང་ནི་མ་འོངས་མཐོང་བརོ་འགྱུར། །མེ་ལོང་ཞེས་བྱའི་ཆོ་ག་མཐའ་དག་ནི། །རལ་གྲི་གསལ་བར་སྟོན་ལ་སྦྱར་བརོ་བྱ། །མཐེ་བོ་རྒྱ་སྐྱེགས་ཁུ་བས་བསྐུས་ནས་སུ། །འབྲུ་མར་དྲི་ཞིམ་དག་གིས་བསྐུ་བར་བྱ། །བུམ་པ་གཙང་མ་ཆུས་བཀང་མི་གཡོར་བཞག །ས་བཅགས་ལྷུང་བཟེད་ནོར་བུ་ཆུ་ཡིས་དགང་། །སྐུ་གཟུགས་ལ་ནི་བྱུག་སྤོས་མེ་ཏོག་དབུལ། །དེ་ནས་བུ་ས་པ་གཞོན་ནུས་བལྟ་བར་བྱ། །གསལ་བར་སྟོན་དང་རྨི་ལམ་ལ་སོགས་པས། །དངོས་གྲུབ་བརྟགས་ཏེ་དེ་ནས་བཟླས་བརྗོད་བྱ། །གལ་ཏེ་ཡིད་ཆེས་པར་ནི་མ་གྱུར་ན། །དེ་ནས་རིག་སྔགས་མི་གདུག་བཟླས་བརྗོད་བྱ། །ང་ཡི་གསང་སྔགས་དག་པ་གང་ཡང་རུང་། །གསོ་སྦྱོང་བྱས་ནས་ནན་ཏན་བཟུང་ནས་སུ། །རྒྱལ་བའི་རིང་བསྲེལ་མཆོད་རྟེན་དྲུང་དུ་བཟླས། །ཡང་ན་སྐུ་གཟུགས་མཉམས་སྤྱན་སྔར་བཟླས། །ལུས་དང་ངག་ཡིད་ལག་པ་མིག་དང་ནི། །སྨིན་མཚམས་ཡན་ལག་རྣམ་པར་གཡོ་བ་དག །རབ་ཏུ་བསྡམས་ནས་དེ་ལ་ཡིད་གཞོལ་ཞིང་། །བྱམས་ལ་གནས་ཤིང་ཀུ་ཤའི་ཁྲེས་ལ་འདུག །ཇི་སྲིད་དུ་ནི་རྩེ་གཅིག་གནས་འགྱུར་པ། །དེ་སྲིད་བར་དུ་འབུམ་མམ་ཉིས་འབུམ་བཟླས། །ང་ཡི་གསང་སྔགས་ཧུྃ་ཞེས་བྱ་བ་འདིས། །ཤིང་ལའང་འབབ་ན་མི་ལ་སྨོས་ཅི་དགོས། །དེ་ནས་དབབ་པའི་སྣོད་རྣམས་བརྟག་པར་བྱ། །བུ་མོ་གཞོན་ནུ་ལོ་བཅུ་འམ་བཅུ་གཉིས་པ། །བཅུ་འམ་བརྒྱད་དམ་བདུན་ནམ་བཞི་འམ་གསུམ། །ཡང་ན་ཁྱེའུའང་རུང་སྟེ་གཉིས་སམ་ལྔ། །ཚིགས་རུས་རྩ་མི་མངོན་ཞིང་གཟུགས་བཟང་བ། །ཡན་ལག་རྫོགས་ཤིང་མིག་ད་ཀྱུས་རིང་ལ་དཀར། །ཁ་བཞིན་ཟླ་འདྲ་མཆེ་བ་མཉམ་ ལ་རྣོ

Moreover, like trees with abundant branches and leaves, it is imperative for the manifestor of humans to descend; they cannot fail to appear. To manifest this descent, first, according to the ritual, recite mantras, choose an auspicious date, and chant incantations. Fast, and at dawn, use earth and heavy objects, and smooth the ground with cow dung. Offer perfume and flowers, burn incense, and present offerings and lamps. Prepare young children. Then, the next morning, perform all these rituals. After bathing, wear clean white clothes, face east, and sit on a cushion of kusha grass, remembering the secret mantra. Wipe a mirror with clean ashes seven, eight, or ten times. With one-pointed mind, recite the secret mantra. Have the young child face west. By looking with the divine eye, one can see the past, present, and future. All rituals concerning mirrors can be applied to clearly reveal swords. Anoint the thumb with the sap of the spurge plant, and anoint with fragrant sesame oil. Fill a clean vase with water and place it without shaking. Create a mandala with earth, and fill a treasure vase with water. Offer perfume and flowers to the Buddha image. Then have the young child look. Verify accomplishments through clear manifestations and dreams, and then recite. If there is still no faith, then recite the wrathful vidya mantra. Any pure secret mantra of mine, after fasting, should be diligently upheld. Recite in front of a stupa or Buddha image. All movements of the body, speech, mind, hands, eyes, and eyebrows, etc., should be completely restrained, and focus on this, abiding in loving-kindness, sitting on a seat of kusha grass. As long as one can remain one-pointed, recite one million or two million times. My secret mantra, called ཧཱུྃ (Tibetan, हूं, hūṃ, seed syllable), can descend even on trees, what need is there to mention humans? Then examine the vessels for descent. Choose a young girl of ten or twelve years, or ten, eight, seven, four, or three years old. Or a boy may also be suitable, two or five years old. The joints, bones, and veins should not be visible, and the appearance should be handsome. The limbs should be complete, and the eyes should be long and white. The face should be like the moon, and the teeth should be even and sharp.
